Josh Dobbs (merged)

He also went on record saying that Cincinnati would be 'elite' this year, and that the Saints would be terrible.

I don't think he understands the definition and usage of the word "rare".
There all just "guesses" remember? He hasn't been able to explain Dobbs poor mechanics or field vision away so I guess that's a guess too.

You mean the Packers team he started an entire thread about saying it would take "An Act of God" for them to be beaten? That Packers team?
Can you prove that the almighty has not had been the reason the Packers have lost? He may be sick of those Aaron Rodgers insurance ads.

Always points it back to coaching too .. as if he couldn't figure out after he picked UT to win it all the first time that coaching was a problem. The talent (sorry guys) was never there for a title run. That UT team had talent in spots but not enough across all three levels of defense or enough depth or enough talent across the OL to make a run in the East much less a Natty.

Lol, my favorite.

He picked UT to win it all in 2016, then when it didn't happen his excuse was there was no way he could have known Butch Jones would be that bad. Then when he picks UT again to win it all in 2017, he's told repeatedly by several, several posters that Butch Jones is still coach and the same issues are present. His response? The talent is too good for even Jones to mess it up. And when it was the worst season ever, his excuse....."how could I know Butch Jones was that bad". ROFL.

And this year, he stated UT would go 10-2 and win the East because we have a "real coach" and the talent and this will prove how bad Jones was. And now.....apparently we didn't have the talent. Although to be fair to D4H, I saw a ton of posters saying we'd be like 8-4 better because we had talent and Pruit would be a better coach, and after the first month suddenly we didn't have any talent.

He also famously touted after UT beat Auburn, which I was so sure of that I started a thread on here myself calling for UT to beat the war beagles, that UT was about to win out even over Bama and it wouldn't matter who was hurt or not.

I dunno what you saw, I just think you couldn’t see the pads. After D4H mocked his original pads, maybe he slimmed down to a better looking get up.

No he’s not. I assume he had his uniform pants on, but he clearly had no shoulder pads on. He ain’t Michael Bennett.
He was warming up on the sideline in full uniform. Then when Ben was standing beside Tomlin on the last offensive set, Dobbs was standing right beside them, full uniform.

yeah I doubt a hoody would fit over pads unless its a 5x or so - even his warming up didnt look very urgent

Ben being Ben lol

I know. Throwing picks in the endzone during the clutch seems to be his MO.

If Dobbs was playing today, the Steelers woulda won. Dobbs was incredible in the redzone at Tennessee because of his running ability.

Dobbs woulda run that in from the 2-yard line. And the Steelers woulda won.
