I am not Butch or anyone associated with him. Just a mere fan like all of you.

And I am not stupid enough to believe that this was all Currie's mess. I truly expect them to pay the man to keep lots of dirty laundry from surfacing.

My question is...how does Davenport still have a job? She is directly responsible for hiring and firing Currie. There is no telling how much that will end up costing us before it's all said and done. She did the bidding of Fulmer, once Fulmer had a couple of boosters in his pocket, by nixing the Brohm and Leach deals. The only thing she cares about is pleasing boosters. To hell with the players, alumni, or fans. She should be forced to take a lard bath with Fulmer every day for the rest of her tenure.

You are correct it isnt all Currie, it was the guy that hand picked him to be his yes man, aka the owner of the cleveland browns.

She stood up and defied the man that practically hired her. Couldn’t be anything more than looking at the whole mess and doing what was right. Now she’s got the back of the man that’s got OUR back. She’s a hero in my book. Wouldn’t use yours for toilet paper. :)

That was because butch had an inflexible offensive plan that he thought was perfect, he also never was able to develop talent. As a former high school coach pruitt has had to spend more time than butch could think of developing players. There is a reason his defenses have never been out of the top 16, he gets the most out of his talent something butch never could do.

If I am not mistaken, Fulmer was on one of the sports talk radio a day before the Schiano BS went down and he was asked if he was involved with the search and he said no.
