JG is not an SEC QB

What’s funny is all of these people freaking out about this game will completely change their tune with a beat down of Florida. That’s how fickle Volnation is.

Yeah this is bad, let’s not talk about firing the Head Coach just yet though.

Look on the bright side, if this keeps up throughout the season, we will be having another super exciting coaching search in the near future. Let’s just not throw him under the bus yet. Good spirit in the fan base helps the team

You are the reason drugs are illegal.

The beauty of it is new kids come in in March and some of the quitters are done in December, so if what you say is true, the culture can change. Coaches change. Players change. Admin changes. The fans are the one constant and we have an effect on the culture when we act like spoiled bitches.
I think it really takes a whole lot of gall to even hint at this juncture that any Vol fan who is even still watching this team, after all we have been through in the last eleven years, is "spoiled."

Is this a serious question? UT administrators' salaries depend on a successful football program because it funds a substantial portion of the university's operations. If that massive source of funding suddenly dried up, they would be forced to re-evaluate how they prioritize said football program, specifically how they approach hiring a head coach for said program. You may not have noticed, but there is enough evidence in at this point to declare safely that they have a pattern, dating back eleven years now, of hiring under-qualified coaches for this position so they can save money compared to what other schools with our level of revenue, and many with less than our level of revenue, are paying for their head coaches.

Whereas conversely, if fans continue to patronize the product that at this point has well-eclipsed the point of being total and utter unwatchable crap, the UTAD will merely continue smugly along, making their big salaries as each day one of the most storied football programs in Division I history is driven further and further into a cavern beneath the ditch (we would have to improve significantly at this point just to get back up to being in the ditch).

Nobody wants to coach for us. Have you been paying attention? We can't even get Gundy to leave OK State. Boycotting is not going to result in some A list coach coming here, is my point.

This is my thoughts as well. Today, more than ever before, I felt like myself and any other fan still supporting this program have been taken for a ride while the power brokers have lined their pockets. For all those still paying to go to games and giving donations, more power to you. I, for one, am done. After sticking with it through the downfall of almost the last 20 years, I think I’ve been a good and patient fan.

I’m not quitting, I’m just accepting the reality and deciding to no longer support it...subject to change when the AD changes.

I honestly don't know which part of your post is dumber, the "a beat down of Florida" or "good spirit in the fan base helping the team".

I'm not talking about what you get, I'm talking about how you act.
By that logic, we should still be drinking British tea and letting Parliament rule us. What would you prefer us to say? "Thank you so much, coach Pruitt and your lovely staff, for a delightfully...conscious...football game today! There were several moments where it at least appeared that your players were indeed awake and sentient on the football field, even if they weren't capable of anything beyond that...But we don't care because we love you all the same! It's all good if the ninth-winningest football program in Division I history is being flushed down the toilet by you and your staff, we don't at all mind getting manhandled by a Sunbelt team that didn't even exist ten years ago, we just love you for showing up and donning our orange today! Please do have a relaxing week, don't stress your little heads about this loss today, because we don't care if you get your nuts kicked in 100-0 next week by BYU, we'll still give you our money that we could have spent on food or bills or a fishing trip because life is beautiful and everyone deserves a trophy no matter how badly they suck!"

Yeah hes not very good. But neither is our oline, dline, etc..this team is garbage again.
Now idk we blame our oline on this 1 ..this is,1,time cant really point finger at ol..they gave him time all day he held ball way to long ..plus idk how many times he couldve pulled it down and ran the middle was wide open..dobbs wouldve put a buck 50 on the ground against thst def

Hill obviously isn’t ready yet because of how late he arrived, so that leaves Shrout as the only mobile QB we have. Frankly he can’t be any worse than Checkdown Guarantano & at least can extend plays and open the playbook.

After today loss, what do we have to lose? Honestly?
Only mobile qb we have? What am I missing? Did Maurer hang up his cleats?

We may be a 40 point dog to Bama. And I’d still take Bama.

He just isn’t. His first pass needed touch; instead he throws a bullet for a INT. His pathetic early slide cost a first down. He was bailed out from another INT with a defensive PI.

I just don’t understand the love affair with this guy. He’s awful.

Got a lot of players who aren't SEC caliber.
