Agreed. He's a serviceable QB. If you need him to win games, or make a play, he's probably not the guy. He needs to have elite talent around him for this team to be good. I respect his toughness and his maturity, but he doesn't seem to have the intangibles that the great ones have.JG lacks the it factor that great QBs have. He isn't bad though. He is a decent QB.
You are 100% correct in your 10+ year assertion, this I will not deny; however, hopes spring eternal, I'm being influenced by the coaching change...…...one more game.I love the university too. Have my diploma on the wall of my office. But the trend has been 10+ years now. It’s not just about this game. This game was likely the final nail on the coffin. We are Indiana.
You and others that have quit the Vols, will be a loss for this board. I don't always agree with you, but with over 14,000 posts, in ten years, you've added a lot.I threw all my **** in the trash today, today was it for me. I’m done. I f’ed up thinking this program was coming back and bought tix for BYU game and that bit me in the ass. Hopefully I can get a refund on the hotel
Sliding pre-1st down didn't look like toughness to me. He had a chance to be Josh Dobbs this year and be a running threat.Agreed. He's a serviceable QB. Jarrett Guantanamo got a scholly because Butch Jones was friends with his dad and he didn't have to put much effort into recruiting himEllington made #2 Guarantano look like a stiff who wears concrete boots , he is Not a Sun Belt quarterback much less SEC . True he is not our only problem, but the dude is lame and hasn't got any better.
