No matter one’s opinion about the Banks arrest - or his reaction to it - we cannot have a coach who responds in this way. This isn’t an issue about the players. It’s about the head football coach’s reaction to their behavior.
Pruitt should be ashamed of how he spoke to that officer and Fulmer needs to hold him accountable.
We now have three players still on the team who either fought police, threatened to shoot them, or who threatened to shoot up the university. Based on Pruitt’s RECORDED commentary with that officer, I can’t imagine why these players felt so comfortable acting the way they did.
I’m sorry, but I can’t envision a scenario in which Pruitt survives the inevitable onslaught coming his way from this video and his ineptitude as our coach.
