A negative is that Shrout threw over 20 interceptions in High School which IMO a really hard stat to accomplish. If by some act of God that Hurts came here, I'm fairly certain he would be better than any QB's on our roster at least for 2019 (JG, Shrout & Maurer).

Geeezus....really? Why is this board up Freeze's arse? I mean if he wants to come then okay--but if he does and our offense improves a bit--we'll just be in the same boat in 1-2 years. I'm fine with an internal promotion. Anything that could help keep some steady continuity and create some stability. If Freeze comes then great--but to think everyone other than him is 2nd tier is childish. We'd be another stepping stone for Freeze to coach somewhere else.

We were one win away this year. 3 cupcakes, a BYU team that is beatable, Kentucky without the RB, and Candy without the QB, Missouri without Locke. Definitely get to six, or 7 easily. Team will be better, not hugely, but better.

I agree with you. If we get Freeze there is a good chance he would only stay one year, then JP would be going into his 3rd year with his 3rd different OC. I think he has to take Freeze if he wants the job but for a program in need of stability there may be a better candidate out there.

Yeah I can see it coming like a freight train. You can too but it’s to gruesome to look away isn’t it? Freeze is a great offensive guys but man there’s several out there just as good to me. Some of these guys will want his head if he does come but can’t work miracles by the first game. Sad but that’s where our fan base is I think. JMO

Lol. He will get drafted and have his chances. If I’m him depending on the playoff, I either stay at Bama if it’s clear he has a shot at being starter next season and Enos is OC or I grad transfer out to Kiffin for the sole purpose of polishing up and getting ready for the draft.
