Yea, I didn't mean that as mocking you, just obviously you know even those that predict 10-2 or 11-1 think that's realistic.

I’ll take a stab at it though. After watching the debacle that was last year, filled with the total inconsistency, I have no reason to feel any sort of comfort with the football team. That doesn’t make me a poo flinger, or only a partial fan. It means we sucked last year, like we have for the better part of the last decade. I need on field productivity before I start to change those feelings.

Peruse the thread, then surmise as to a theme within the thread. Up to this point, I'm reading an argument that those who express excremental opinions of the Vols football are not disassociated from "true Vols fans," they're just "true Vols fans" who happen to be talking shyte about their team. In the above post, I am asking for one of the advocates to affirm my understanding.

And that's fine, no one should have a problem with that, I don't. What I don't understand about it is, if that's the way you feel then what's left to discuss, why stick around and remind everyone everyday many times that you think we suck and you ain't changing your feelings until something changes? There are several that say/feel the same way and it just seems they just want to bish.

Just to be clear, that doesn't really pertain to you because you're not in the FF whining all the time.

Not an awful question, but ask the reverse question. Why post thread after thread about how you think things are looking up and belittling anyone that questions some belief that we’re magically going to be SEC contenders next year?

There are some that do...some that don't. Then there are those who just don't give damn and stir it up. That I'm not in agreement with. However, that doesn't change their status level of a fan.

Everyone that's still here since 2008 are all true Vols fans.

I don't know William, it ain't ever gonna change and it probably shouldn't, we can't all agree on everything. But, I answered your question best I could. I joke around and stir the pot sometimes about this subject, but I know it is what it is.
