Again, I will never understand the need some Vol fans have to jump to the defense of uga at any negative mention.

uga could be on the podium, receiving the MNC trophy after beating the other team 75-0 and I would still consider them a trash program, and would have no respect for them.

Georgia - Trash program. Cheap shot U. Most annoying fans in the nation.

Smart didn't retain Pruitt who was instantly hired by Saban. Good enough for Saban, but not Smart's first ever staff? Should tell you everything you need to know.

Richt was by far a worse game day coach than Kirby. He was pretty lucky in a lot of the key games he won. Richt was a "players' coach" but not a good game day coach by any means. He proved that at Miami when he consistently lost to teams with lesser talent.

I haven’t read the responses but yes I believe that is true. I know Pruitt can’t stand Smart. I’m pretty sure the opposite is true as well but I don’t for sure that Smart doesn’t like Pruitt.

It’s about expectations. Smart took over following a 10 win season and he was supposed to be an upgrade over Richt, who averaged 10 wins a year. Through 4 seasons Richt was 42-10 and Smart is 44-12 so Richt had the better winning percentage through his first 4 seasons. That’s why Smart is seen in a negative light. He has fallen short of expectations.

I disagree. Richt also beat some teams he shouldn’t at Miami and that was pretty late in his career. Richt had the better winning percentage his first 4 years and Smart has had better recruiting rankings and had an easier East division. Smart choked away a National Title and an opportunity to play for another one. Richt never got the chance to try but that second team of his would have been in the playoffs had that format been in use at the time. I’m not saying Richt is better but to say Kirby is by far better is ludicrous.

Yeah at this point Kirby looks a little bit better. Def better, but just a little bit better.
