Again, I will never understand the need some Vol fans have to jump to the defense of uga at any negative mention.

uga could be on the podium, receiving the MNC trophy after beating the other team 75-0 and I would still consider them a trash program, and would have no respect for them.

Smart had an opportunity to retain Pruitt as DC. He didn't. Part of it was due to Pruitt showing up at Richt's house drunk, and threatening Richt. Also, another UGA asst had to be pulled off Pruitt before he beat Pruitt senseless at practice.
Pruitt seems to be doing a great job at UT, so good for him and you. Just don't blow smoke.

Well, that average coach just beat our excellent team about 42-15. Call him what you want, but that doesn't change the fact that they are consistently in
the top 5-10. How long has it been since we were in the top ten team ranking?

We were #9 after we beat Georgia 4 years ago I guess.

It was reported to be Thomas Brown who was about to show Pruitt the business for the manner in which Pruitt was treating Richt.

All the other chairs were properly tied together...his wasn’t and he lost an appendage. Really not as clear cut as you wish it to be.

Florida hasn't recruited significantly better than us in the last couple of years, including this year. The worm is starting to turn here. Georgia though, is still ahead of both Florida and Tennessee recruiting wise, but they consistently do more with less. Hope that trend continues.

This is true about UF. Problem is they have a proven SEC coach while we have a guy that is learning to be a head coach.

I’ve said for awhile the year for us to seriously challenge for the SEC East and SEC is the 22 season. It was a five to six year rebuild that Pruitt walked into.
