Iran

Some of us hoped the GOP had reformed since the Neocons were run out of the Party in disgrace. Nope. They are back in power (now under the guise of Zionists) and back to doing what they do best, bringing death, destruction and destablization to the World. And they will be routed in coming elections, as they were in 2008 and 2012.

We need a viable third Party in the worst way.

Are y'all affirming that some regimes in the middle east do not shield high value targets behind civilian facilities?

I thought it was well-established they do.

Doesn't mean it happens all the time and I understand that. But it does happen...at least I thought it did.

Thanks. Didn't read the link, yet. But I am sure the strategy isn't limited to one side or the other. Is that the context of the link?

He's trying to equate US AF personnel staying in hotels while deployed to Hamas and others storing weapons and building tunnels under civilian buildings. It's a dumbazz comparison.

True, one is covered accurately and one is mostly what Israel says every time they blow up a civilian building, while downplaying their own human shield practices. We certainly seem to be fighting the Iran war in Israel's style as well

It makes perfect tactical sense. If in a position of lesser actual combat capability anything that can be made to lessen the likelihood of a position being targeted is a good thing and if it being targeted anyway can then be used in a propaganda campaign against your enemy you still get something out of the tactic.

It's a pretty horrific practice but you can't really fault it from a purely pragmatic standpoint.
