LOL at you trusting reporting from MSNOW and NYT on this administration. Absolutely hilarious. You still haven't realized that Monty's point was there is nothing to back up the claim except "Witkoff said so," and you keep doing it again lol. Others who were there say he's lying, as well as the article describing how this had been in the works for several months
I'm not a big fan of this war. I think it's a huge gamble but it does have the potential to have a great impact. I don't think this is a war Trump started. It's a war he's trying to finish. The war started in 1979 and has traversed 8 presidents. It was a boiling pot of water and was going to boil over eventually. All these prior presidents kicked this can down thr road.
They were amassing missiles at the rate of 600/month. This doesn't count the thousands of drones. There was a reason for this. The reason appears to be they were amassing this arsenal to be so large that it would be almost impossible to prevent them from going nuclear. Do you really think they wouldn't use it if they had it? They've touted their goal was the destruction of Isreal (and the United States). Some say they weren't close. They told negotiators they already had enough enriched uranium to make 11 warheads. We offered to provide them with nuclear fuel for power generation but they refused.
This was a war that was coming, it's just a matter of when. Do we wait until a a few million are killed from a nuclear strike?
I have several problems with some posters. One, they hold Trump to a different standard than they do their own politicians . They think it's fine when their side does it but if Trump does it, it's suddenly criminal.
Two, some do appear to be cheering every misstep. War is messy, it's not a video game. Bad, wrong things are going to happen. Criticism is one thing, laughing at mishaps is another.
Three, saying this or that is moronic makes me laugh every time I see it. I mean armchair quarterbacking is something we do but pretending you know more about executing a battle than these military commanders is truly moronic. They have years of experience. They've studied and spent countless hours strategic planning. They've got access to Intel that no one here knows a fraction of.
Four, many want the US to fail simply because they hate Trump. They may not openly state it but it's pretty obvious they are just waiting for any bad news, secretly hoping for it so they can criticize Trump or his administration. I would never do that. I don't care who was in charge, I'd never want the US to fail.
Like I said, I'm not a fan of this war, but now that it's started, I hope for complete success. I hope for the absolute minimum of US casualties. I hope for a minimum of innocent lives lost. I hope that this regime is never reconstituted. I hope the Iraniun people can get their country back after a hostile takeover in 1979. Some of that may not be attainable but at the very least I hope we set their ability to terrorize the world back so far that at least we won't have to worry about them for decades.
Why would the Iranians say that? How could it possibly benefit them?Witkoff also claimed that he and Kushner, on behalf of the US, offered to provide Iran nuclear fuel for the next decade on the condition it was not used for any weapons program.
“They rejected that, which told us at that very moment that they had no — no notion of doing anything other than retaining enrichment for the purpose of weaponizing.”
Oh, I found it but if I post it you'll just say that was a lie so what's the point? The reason it's not been widespread is because your pinup Rachel Madcow hasn't reported it.So the purported revelation that Iran was ready to build 11 nuclear bombs was such big news that it... wasn't covered by a single news organization.. Just admit you're wrong and move on eh.
At least they're not raping children like the ones you support. So do you give money through your purchases of goods to 3rd world countries that employ child labor? Glad to know you are in favor of sponsoring child labor.
Ohhh minor detail. You know that ol' "we obliterated Iran's nuclear capability" versus "we now must risk American lives again because I lied" chestnut.
I'm a realist. If the Iranians are motivated to dig their nuclear program facilities deep enough, we will be eventually unable to reach them with our bunker busters. So the only way that we could stop them - in all likelihood - is either through espionage or boots on the ground.
You might wanna take a breather. Go grab a cold beer, get off VN for awhile, enjoy some time outside.Oh, I found it but if I post it you'll just say that was a lie so what's the point? The reason it's not been widespread is because your pinup Rachel Madcow hasn't reported it.

No you're an idiot that hopes this fails so it makes Trump.looks bad. You're pathetic. You support child molesters and terrorist and the enemies of this country.
OK, here are statements from others ...My guy, you are trusting "Witkoff said so" when everything and everyone else indicates he's lying
This does not back up what Witkoff said about the negotiationsOK, here are statements from others ...
Days into the U.S.-Israel joint campaign against Iran, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi posted to X stating, "There has been no evidence of Iran building a nuclear bomb."
Grossi, who is running to become the next United Nations secretary general, did however admit in his post on X that Iran maintains "a large stockpile of near-weapons grade enriched uranium" and said that the Islamic Republic has not allowed inspectors full access to its program. With these facts in mind, he said that the IAEA "will not be in a position to provide assurance that Iran’s nuclear programme is exclusively peaceful" until Iran "assists…in resolving the outstanding safeguards issues."
Richard Goldberg, a senior advisor to the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, FDD, told Fox News Digital, "No one paid much attention to Rafael Grossi throughout the Biden years when he repeatedly warned publicly that Iran was refusing to cooperate with and providing false statements to the IAEA about ongoing investigations into undeclared facilities, activities and nuclear material."
The former Trump administration official said, "There are some key facts being ignored today. The IAEA board last year found Iran to be in breach of the NPT. To this day, Grossi has confirmed that the IAEA cannot verify the Iranian nuclear program is peaceful."
He continued, "This is not Iraq where we lacked hard public evidence of a nuclear weapons program. Iran had built out nearly every part of its nuclear weapons program in plain sight, with the weaponization work moving forward at undeclared sites controlled by SPND. If the administration had evidence the regime was moving quickly to reconstitute key elements of that program — from advanced centrifuge manufacturing to completion of a new underground enrichment site alongside advancement of delivery vehicle programs - the president was fully justified in enforcing a red line he set after Operation Midnight Hammer."
Spencer Faragasso, a senior fellow at the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), told Fox News Digital that his organization calculated prior to the June 2025 12 Day War that Iran possessed 440.9 kilograms of 60% rich uranium. With about 24 or 25 kilograms of 90% rich uranium required per weapon, Faragasso said the country possessed the ability to produce 11 weapons in one month.
Faragasso said that there remain questions about whether the Iranians can access their enriched materials, and whether they possess additional centrifuges that may have not been installed in the facilities that were struck.
I tried to have a conversation with you. Then you decided to call me a liar. Call me a liar and the gloves come off. And no, I'm not sure we're all on the same side. Many on here are hoping for failure. They wait for any bad news to have some sort of "gotcha " moment. You might wanna take a breather. Go grab a cold beer, get off VN for awhile, enjoy some time outside.
We're all on the same side here.
