Iran

Damn I wish the admin and their surrogates would stop gaslighting us all on what this was about. Right now Mike Johnson is stating again that the goal was never regime change. First was short and medium range missiles and their production capability. Second was their navy. Yet the very first weapons to strike took out 49 some odd regime leaders. I guess they had short and mid range missiles on them while they were in their workshop building more? Damn just be honest about it we all see it

I would think opportunity presented its self. No one dreamed those idiots would be stupid enough to all gather in the same place. I am with you, just call it the sudden golden opportunity and we acted

Wait, I want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly and not misreading what you're saying.

It is your contention that there was no evidence, zero, nada, existiert nicht ( @OrangeTsar ) that the Iranians were in any form trying to build a nuclear weapon?
Don’t care if there was evidence or not, they wanted to wipe out the state of Israel. So grateful for Trump being the great leader that he is, not just for Israel but for the people of Iran.

Some here are upset that the US is an ally and they continue to demonize both our great country and Israel. e.g. Huff.

It’s okay, I saw something today that was very clear, those people are in the minority and good will prevail.

Why so many rockets? Simple, the destruction of the only Jewish state is the Islamic Republics stated goal.
It’s a fact, if Israel didn’t have the Iron dome, I’m convinced it would have been wiped out.

Iran and its proxies have fired thousands of rockets, missiles, and drones at Israel.
Iranian-backed Hezbollah had an arsenal of 150,000 rockets before 10/07 which they started firing from Lebanon immediately. Israel was facing rockets from all directions. June 2025 War: Iran launched over 550 ballistic missiles and over 1,000 suicide drones.
April 2024 Attack: Over 300 drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles were fired, with a 99% interception rate.
Ongoing Activity: Proxies, including Houthis and militias in Iraq/Syria, have continued to target Israel, with Iran continuing to replenish its stocks, having over 2,000 ballistic missiles available as of Feb 28, 2026. The conflict has involved intense, ongoing, and, as of early 2026,, frequent, large-scale direct and indirect attacks.

Regime change, protestors, nukes, medium range missiles…. What’s the difference?

First sentence makes a lot of sense. You don't care about the truth. Can't argue with someone who outright doesn't care about the truth.

CBS Austin reporter filmed getting text from boss telling him NOT to cover Iranian protesters praising Trump and Netanyahu's killing of Ayatollah

A CBS Austin reporter appeared to ignore direction from superiors suggesting he de-emphasize coverage of a pro-Israel-US protest occurring behind him in the wake of American and Israeli strikes on Iran.

Vinny Martorano was surrounded by demonstrators who waved Iranian flags while shouting 'thank you Trump' and 'thank you Bibi' outside the Texas Capitol on Saturday when he received the command during a Facebook livestream.

'What does that mean?' the reporter could be heard asking in a viral clip, as he reads a message on a phone handed to him by a crew member from the TV station.

'It means they don't want us to focus on this,' the off-screen staffer says in the snippet.

A defiant Martorano shoots back, 'Well, I am,' before pressing forward with his live coverage.

The rest of Martorano's report wrapped shortly after the unscripted section.

Maybe Israel had regime leaders in the crosshairs and we didn't tell them no? As I understand it, we didn't hit any of the leadership. Your point is well taken though and I agree with it.

It's not done with their eyes. There are several ways this could have happened. Electronic identification has problems if everybody isn't singing from the same music.

That being said, I would think anybody squawking anything could probably be eliminated from the "Foe" category. I doubt the Iranian airplanes (have they actually gotten anything airborne?) have working basic transponders nevermind any with stolen codes.
It was reported early in the conflict that Iran did get two Migs airborne and they were rapidly unscheduled disassembled by a couple of F35s.

Yes. US intelligence said they’re not. The IAEA has repeatedly said they’re not. So provide evidence they are I’m sure it’d be of great help to both the IAEA and us intelligence
Even if they were not, they have tons of the stuff enriched enough for a dirty bomb, which would be a weapon of choice for terrorist organizations. Those zealots would also be crazy enough to use one.

Remember, MAD was telling us all we were killing people if we didn't get the COVID shot. That's the track record we're dealing with here.
Hell I'm being lumped in with liberals and liking posts/having my posts like by people I disagree with on here all the time.

I voted for no new wars. No war with Iran and peace. That's what was campaigned on. I didn't flip flop. All these other conservatives did.

And yes that tracks. Just a government propaganda eater.

I hadn’t heard we weren’t the ones that struck Khameni’s compound. I can absolutely see that as priority 1 target for Israel.

as I understand it - they hit leadership and we hit infrastructure. Per Rubio today it sounds like Israel was a go (presumably due to intel of where they were gathering) and we went too to mitigate retailiation. Might all be BS and I'm sure the plan was to do this eventually but the timeline might have gotten bumped up due to opportunity.

So you are saying in 2008 the US didn’t think Iran was trying to get a nuclear weapon. Why would Hillary make those comments if she didn’t have intelligence on Iran.
I am saying that her quote was "if Iran launches a nuclear attack on Israel" which they have not done. That's not hypocrisy, it's a completely different situation

👍 thanks I’ll go read up on that. Honestly I have been busy all weekend working on my boat so I’m not binging on the info stream.
