Iran

I’m still trying to understand how that happens honestly…Iran doesn’t have F-22’s or F-35’s it’s not like they can’t identify us
The planes shot down were F15s. I saw a pretty good explanation on YouTube. It was likely the air defense systems were being overwhelmed by drone & rockets at the time and wasn't able to differentiate. It's also a possibility that the planes may have been using the wrong designated "friendly" frequency.

The same thing was said about Syria using nerve agents on the Kurds. The Russians and the Syrians both said it was staged by the US.. Who really knows?
In Iraq we weren't flying at the time it took place. Weren't even in their sandbox at that time

I've heard the allegations for Syria, didn't really make sense because there was nothing that needed a pretext for our involvement. There was no one to buy in.

"If Iran were to launch a nuclear attack on Israel"

View attachment 817568
So in 2008 the US thought Iran would want to get a nuclear weapon to use. Fast forward to now even after Iran nuclear facilities got hit they were still trying to get a nuclear weapons to use. Sounds like it was a good idea for the Iran leadership and military stuff be taken out

We had to fight for our freedom. They will as well
Hopefully. But back then, we at least had muskets and cannon like the British did even though they were supposedly the best army in the world at the time. But fight we did and got it done.

The problem here is the people aren’t anywhere close to being armed like the Iranian military. And we’ve seen what their military and the regime don’t mind doing to civilians who protest Unless the military rises up against the regime, the civilians have no chance without help. Now if we are able to completely disable their military without sending in troops so be it. But I’ll believe that when I see it.

Netanyahu had been saying for over 30 years they were building nuclear weapons. It doesn’t take decades to develop nuclear weapons if you’re trying

Can you provide any evidence they were developing nuclear weapons?

It's not done with their eyes. There are several ways this could have happened. Electronic identification has problems if everybody isn't singing from the same music.

That being said, I would think anybody squawking anything could probably be eliminated from the "Foe" category. I doubt the Iranian airplanes (have they actually gotten anything airborne?) have working basic transponders nevermind any with stolen codes.

And if it weren't for French intervention there's a good chance we would have lost.

Deflection aside, did Iran launch a nuclear attack on Israel? If not then it's not what Hillary or others "promised for years to do"

Terrible.

As to politics, which have to be discussed despite the granular nature of the loss, I don't think there is a magic number over which we cannot go. But the higher the number gets, the greater the pressure on the administration to show demonstrable results, not self-congratulatory rhetoric, which so far is all we really have (see e.g. Hegseth's blathering this morning).

It does if your adversaries infect your enrichment facilities with computer viruses that make them spin out of control and blow up, and kill your nuclear scientists than have all the know-how.

Yes he did. And for me, those were weapons of mass destruction. But that’s just me. He obviously exaggerated his other WMD capabilities.
Agree here but with one caveat: I think Saddam believed he had WMDs because it came out afterward that he asked where were the weapons and it was then he was told they didn't exist. Would have loved to have had that moment recorded for posterity.

Yes. US intelligence said they’re not. The IAEA has repeatedly said they’re not. So provide evidence they are I’m sure it’d be of great help to both the IAEA and us intelligence
Wait, I want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly and not misreading what you're saying.

It is your contention that there was no evidence, zero, nada, existiert nicht ( @OrangeTsar ) that the Iranians were in any form trying to build a nuclear weapon?
