Iran

Any bunker has to have an entry. You don’t have to have the capability of striking something at a specific depth, if you can simply make it inaccessible.
True.

But... I think it's far more easy to have hidden entrances than it is to have bomb strikes by the United States on multiple entryways. It's pretty much like whack-a-mole. But there are bunches and bunches of moles.

We only have a very limited supply of the biggest bunker busters.

Their regime can’t afford to continually play whack a mole. They’ll be out if they try it.

That’s why all the Russian simps have been showing up in this thread. Losing Iran would be a massive blow to Russia.

There's also been a strong, irrational presence in the Venezuela thread, which was another massive blow. Orange man bad, bloody dictators good, Comrades.

Late dropping this but…

A picture, not a link, was provided claiming a quote was made. The most obvious way to settle this is to provide a direct link to the quote.

ETA: and the smooth brain who posted just above me is guilty of this all the time. As is pacer in this example.

🔴 More reports from Tehran as well as Southern Iran.

• People are trapped in their homes almost all day.

• They're allowed a small window to go outside to buy essential household items. Groups of foreign terrorists escort them to shops.

• These terrorists observe their every movement and listen to their every word. If anyone steps out of line or says something "wrong", they get shot.

• Each shop also has a heavy regime presence. They are everywhere.

• The regime is blasting loud Arabic, Shia islamic chants throughout neighbourhoods.

• Patrols make sure people don't even look out of their own windows at nighttime.

• If you are giving birth, you can't go to any hospital. You must arrange for someone to visit your home instead to give birth in your home.

• The closest comparison is now Handmaid's Tale, but real life and not fictional.

• It's a state of actual foreign occupation. There are more Afghan and Arab mercenaries than there are local IRGC forces. The mullahs imported thousands of non-Iranian islamic terrorists because they would have lost control otherwise.

• There is an actual genocide happening, not in the fake Gaza sense but literal mass murder in the darkness, on a scale and speed barely ever seen since WW2.

• The death toll reports are over 50,000 so far. In a country of 90 million, everyone knows at least one or more loved ones who've been murdered. This number is rising rapidly, and will probably skyrocket again when the internet returns

• Iran is now a concentration camp containing 90 million hostages.

So what is Trump going to do if the Iranians are building nuclear facilities deeper than previously located? Deep enough that they are completely immune to any sort of bunker busters.

Such action by the Iranians is completely plausible and likely. Americans have the misconception that the Iranians are not smart or capable. They absolutely are. They're just led by a fanatical Ayatollah.

And they want nuclear bombs. Why wouldn't they.

So now what?

Iran has the capacity to start enriching uranium again in "a matter of months", the head of the UN's nuclear watchdog has said.

Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said the US strikes on three Iranian sites last weekend had caused severe but "not total" damage, contradicting Donald Trump's claim that Iran's nuclear facilities were "totally obliterated".

"Frankly speaking, one cannot claim that everything has disappeared and there is nothing there," Grossi said on Saturday.
You are probably correct, as long as the oil money continues and the ayatollah stays in power, they will eventually get their bomb. Which is why we are all hoping for the downfall of the ayatollah - we are all hoping for that, right?

How do you explain the lack of reporting on this in the western press? Some outlets would not be expected to report it, but you would think that some would.

Western media has been bought.

I don’t know. I am sure Qatar has bought a lot of influence, but I just don’t see how all of the corporate outlets plus all of the independents like Substack and so forth could be shutdown if things in Iran are as bad as you suggest. Even mainstream Israeli media doesn’t seem to report casualties like your sources cite. I hope your sources are wrong.

Didn't you say before that the foreigners don't speak Farsi? That would make it difficult for them to monitor conversations. There might be some exaggeration in those reports. Regardless, here's hoping that the people there soon get a good government of their own choosing.
