But... I think it's far more easy to have hidden entrances than it is to have bomb strikes by the United States on multiple entryways. It's pretty much like whack-a-mole. But there are bunches and bunches of moles.

We only have a very limited supply of the biggest bunker busters.

Their regime can’t afford to continually play whack a mole. They’ll be out if they try it.

That’s why all the Russian simps have been showing up in this thread. Losing Iran would be a massive blow to Russia.

Such action by the Iranians is completely plausible and likely. Americans have the misconception that the Iranians are not smart or capable. They absolutely are. They're just led by a fanatical Ayatollah.

You are probably correct, as long as the oil money continues and the ayatollah stays in power, they will eventually get their bomb. Which is why we are all hoping for the downfall of the ayatollah - we are all hoping for that, right?

How do you explain the lack of reporting on this in the western press? Some outlets would not be expected to report it, but you would think that some would.

I don’t know. I am sure Qatar has bought a lot of influence, but I just don’t see how all of the corporate outlets plus all of the independents like Substack and so forth could be shutdown if things in Iran are as bad as you suggest. Even mainstream Israeli media doesn’t seem to report casualties like your sources cite. I hope your sources are wrong.

Didn't you say before that the foreigners don't speak Farsi? That would make it difficult for them to monitor conversations. There might be some exaggeration in those reports. Regardless, here's hoping that the people there soon get a good government of their own choosing.

As a minimum, we're financing it. Israel doesn't do anything that the American taxpayer isn't billed for. I would bet the CIA is involved, just like when the USA and the UK overthrew Iran's democracy in the 1950s and replaced it with a brutal dictatorship that was eventually overthrown in the Islamic Revolution. We've pissed away a lot of money in Iran since the 1950s for multinational oil companies and more recently for the Israelis, and this is all we have to show for it, an Islamic theocracy in Iran and a higher US national debt.
