4. Yes, should be irrelevant but if it starts gaining steam on campus our players may get affected. Hopefully not.
5. Alabama and Arkansas are probably better than sackalina and Missouri. Not sold completely on Florida.

Battered Vol Syndrome is real.

The Vol's offense has been performing well lately, so I don't doubt they will score enough to win the game.

I also don't doubt that UT's defense can make the stops and takeaways necessary to get the win.

However, I could say the same thing about Ole Miss. They are a pretty good team. UT will have to play a near perfect game to win it. I believe the Vols can do it.

We only have one starter going to be out according to Heupel. Mitchell. I think it will close anyone can win. Yes I think ole miss has an edge offensively but we have an edge defensively.

I expect a big crowd and an offensive shootout. Our defense is playing better than expected this year. I think we are just a little behind Ole Miss right now in our rebuild. I think our defense struggles a little in this one.

Whay do you mean by our defense will be the betrer squad but their offense will be more productive? How does that work?

Unless we have tons of penalties and unforced turnovers...your above statement doesnt compute

Ole Miss has a worse defense than Missouri, we hang 28 on them in the 1st Qtr. Unfortunately it will take more like 60 to secure the win. But we get there Vols 70-63 in a who has the ball last wins game. And I'm no the only one that thinks this way. ESPN has us as having a 53.8% chance to win. GBO hang 70 on the Kiff!!

Here are a few stats that show just how bad Ole Miss is on defense and how scoring a lot seems to change the view of a team.

In now 11 SEC games at Ole Miss, Kiffin's team is giving up 41.5 ppg and they are 5-6 in those games. His best defensive showing was giving up 21 to Vanderbilt last season, who went 0-9 last season and was the worst offense in the league in 2020. By comparison our complete clownshow 2012 defense allowed 35.7 ppg.

Vanderbilt and South Carolina are the only wins Kiffin has at Ole Miss vs SEC teams by more than one score. 2 are 1 point wins. His average loss in the 6 is by 12.5 points.

I have seen some dumb, repulsive, juvenile posts on here through the years, but yours takes the cake.

The man expressed his opinion. He didn’t criticize anyone; he didn’t say anything remotely inflammatory; he stated his opinion in a calm, rational manner. And you came on here and acted like a twelve-year-old who just got grounded for sneaking a beer from his dad’s stash in the fridge.

Ole Miss defense is among the worst in the SEC, except for maybe Mizzou. We have a respectable defense. We make one or two more defensive stops than Ole Miss makes on us and we win!

It’s not a one dimensional game and the best defense doesn’t necessarily win the game. It can lead to more offensive opportunities, but we have to take advantage of them and put points on the board.

So after spending weeks when we lost ripping the staff you go into hiding for 10 days after two blow out wins, then are drawn back out to defend a poster who posted reasons we are going to lose to Ole Miss? Some impressive negaism there.

Can we beat Ole Miss? Maybe.

Can we keep this up vs SEC teams week after week in this part of the season? That's another thing. But this week...... we're in it.

Heupel and the Vols have a chance against Ole Miss to punch above their weight this week.

GBO...... we are very much in it.

Press conference today, Heupel said all the guys who didnt play this past week (Cooper included) is back. Thats gonna be a plus if so.

Nothing would please me more then to send LK to the exit with a loss. It’s, in my opinion gonna be a close game. I just hope we can get some of our guys healthy and not be spent in the 2nd half. Our crowd needs to be loud!
