Gun control debate (merged)

It happened during the Sheriffs press conference. If anything the Sheriff office shouldn't have let him speak during their conference, but they have an agenda to push so...

The guy was having mental issues for being rejected from the lovely ladies. Being rejected drove the shooter crazy for revenge on any female at random.

He was gay, no wonder he was rejected by ladies. It's like he was in denial.

HE sounds/acts exactly like how I would think Notabed/Dallsmp does :eek:lol:

A lot of it seemed forced as if he was acting for the camera vs a true diary of himself.

When you need a scapegoat. God forbid he blame the shooter and his overall douchebaggery upbringing and his liberal twit father.

The shooter is to blame, but turning yet another blind eye to the reality that guns were the mechanism is just stupid. I don't expect gun nuts to ever admit that the situation is out of control. To do so would mean you'd have to set aside your ego in favor of saving lives of people you don't know, from far away, and about whom you do not care.

It seems like that but I watched all of his videos before his channel disappeared, the kid was like that in all of them. I've met people who acted the same way..usually they were the social pariahs of the school.

The situation isn't out of control. Want out of control? Go visit Puerto Rico or Anytown, Brazil. The reality is the gun violence in this country is not that bad but it gets tons of press when you have the mass killings which are never good (the killings). And to be honest if I was a gun dealer and that twerp came into my shop looking for a gun I'd tell him to pound sand. The problem in these killings is the kid was a product of Hollywood snobbery who when out in the real world realized no one gave a sh@t about how much his sunglasses or shoes cost. Watch his videos and if the immortal words of Lloyd Christmas, "You are one pathetic loser!", don't reverberate in your head then I dont know what to say.

And lets not forget the bloodbath started with a triple stabbing.

Does anyone know what he used? A handgun right? I assume if it was a threatening looking "assault rifle" that would have been all over the news.

And LG I don't think anyone is turning a blind eye to the fact guns were used..

People want to pretend that he killed them telepathically. As though the tools these guys keep using to slaughter people is irrelevant.

What would have constituted a "social pariah" at your trashy Knoxville high school in the mid-90s might be a little different than how things worked, you know, at a Southern California high school in 2009. You recognize that... right?

This happened in a highly restrictive State. And started with stabbings.

Rampage in college town began with stabbings | News - KEYT

And furthermore, did you know the police already checked into this young man?

The rampage occurred hours after authorities said Rodger warned in a YouTube video that he would kill all who had wronged him.

Police went to Rodger's apartment April 30 to conduct a wellness check after being contacted by members of Rodger's family who were concerned about disturbing videos he had posted on YouTube. Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said that deputies had reported back that Rodger was shy, polite and said the Santa Barbara community college student had been having a difficult social life.

Calif. shooting suspect feared police would discover his plan weeks before rampage | Fox News

So typically, you choose to start blaming the tool used instead of looking at ALL the facts that he stabbed people, ran them over, then used a firearm.

AND IT WAS KNOWN IN ADVANCE HE HAD SIGNIFICANT MENTAL ISSUES. And the police were involved. So who's to blame? Gun manufacturers? BMW? The police? The knife company?

You're so predictable it's insane.

I believe he stabbed a couple people as well.

People want to pretend that he killed them telepathically. As though the tools these guys keep using to slaughter people is irrelevant.

The tools are almost irrelevant though. You can kill someone with your bare hands, your car, your peg leg, rope, sticks, electricity, frying pans, toasters, pillows, buzzsaws, chainsaws, sawzalls, forks, knives, baseballs, bats, chairs, chair legs, stress, piano wire, hammers, etc.

Banning guns does nothing to stop the violence though and that is a fact. Wanna know how you stop violence? You rule with an iron fist, rule with violence. Oppress the people to extremes. Any insurrection is met with swift death and violence.

The government continually fails at curtailing various problems in this country whether its guns, poverty, terrible education, etc. Attempting to artificially equal the playing field goes against human nature.
