It would destroy NATO, and isolate the US from the most of the world. Europe could bar trade with the US, restrict travel to and from
Or it would further the NATO re-set that Trump has set in motion. Europeans have used it like a rental car where the US is the rental agency. Europe doesn’t wash it, change the oil, or tires…. But expect it to be there when they need it.

I wouldn't feel sorry for Denmark since it was the biggest supporter of the USA bombing Serbia and the Danes cheered when Serbia lost the Kosovo region. That being said, I don't support it because there would be massive expenses involved that US taxpayers would shoulder whether through increased taxes or, more likely, inflation via higher government spending and debt, with the financial gains going to multinational corporations, profits that most ordinary Americans would never enjoy while being burdened with the costs.

get past the clutter of the past few months, and it is obviously a Sino-Russia/US power struggle, and even concerns by the Danes about CCP influence

You say the Europeans have been using NATO like a rental car when we in fact, we’re the only country to ever call in article 5 and request their military support.

Not sure why you feel obliged to just make up ****.

At the rate Europe has been going, how long will they be trustworthy 'allies'? There is no longer free speech? They're jailing people for speech laws now? Have some of them not been cancelling election results because socialists lost--calling the winners RWE? They've been overwhelming their own countries with violent Muslims. Heck, in 5-10 years they may just be a collection of nuclear-capable Islamist caliphates.

Trump may just be writing Europe off as lost, building new local manufacturing and regional/global alliances, and taking control of our own defenses.

The US did not “call in Article 5” like you are implying.

Since you are A fan of AI

did the us ask for article 5 to be invoked

In the history of NATO
the United States has never formally asked for Article 5 to be invoked
While Article 5 has been triggered only once—following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks—the initiative for this action did not come from a U.S. request:
  • Initiated by NATO: Following the 9/11 attacks, NATO Secretary General George Robertson suggested the invocation as a political statement of solidarity.
  • U.S. Reluctance: U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell initially indicated the United States had no interest in making such a request, though it would not object if NATO's governing body, the North Atlantic Council, acted independently.
  • Confirmation: On October 2, 2001, after receiving evidence that the attacks were directed from abroad, the North Atlantic Council confirmed the Article 5 invocation.

What did I make up? Has the EU been contributing their fair share? Why has the US had to lead the way in Ukraine? How many European bases are in the US?

Him, friends whatever. There’s a reason why he’s so against dealing with it now.
with Trump's ego being fragile enough where even sign language interpreters are considered a big enough problem to try and address, I would think there are a plethora of non-criminal dirt in those files that Trump is shallow enough to want buried.

heck its already been stated in the files that he was possibly performing sexual acts on a dude. that would CRUSH Trump and the image of him.

Denmark is going to end up selling Greenland to the US, and everyone again will have been wrong LOL

Obviously, that would be very stupid of them, but I have no idea. It appears we're watching a run to the exit, why would anyone give up real assets for fake ones? If the bank is running to real assets in almost a desperate manner, apparently there is a high probability they might know something.

I have no idea why someone would be willing to do this transaction considering what has happened over the last few weeks. Why would anyone trust the U.S. at this point? They would have to be brave souls.

You can't print new raw materials. I would suggest there is a whole leg that is going to drop.

If you wish to believe that,ok with me, but I think you are wrong. The US already has a military presence in Greenland, taking away it's sovereignty is a very russian like action. I bet the great orange wizard owns stock in something involving rare earth minerals.
