We need rare earth minerals for our American War Machine. China has that market cornered for the moment. Ukraine and Greenland both have tons of it.

We need to control the northwest passage because The China and Russia have both been surveying the ocean floor in and around that whole area. China has been offering build ports in Greenland.

Trump is saying it all the time, but it’s not his call. Not really. This has been in the making for almost 100 years. NATO will give Greenland to the US.

It principle its not cool, but as buddy buddy as Putin is with Trump, Medvedv has no love for Americans even a little. Russia has sacrificed over a 1,000,000 of its own people in Ukraine. What do you think they would to do Americans if given the chance. China is even WORSE.
Greenlanders are nice people but they live in the wrong area, and it will be taken one way or another.

Damn, this is really one of the most delusional posts that I've read on the subject. There's nothing stopping us purchasing REM from any Greenland extraction operation on the open market, the same way we already do with Chinese REMs.

You seriously have zero concept of how much the US relies on NATO bases in Europe to project power around the world.

If Trump keeps this up, this is what is going to happen:

Ramstein Germany where literally every wounded soldier from the Middle-East was sent, gone

Rota Spain, the only place outside of the continental Untied States where US Navy destroyers can reload BMs, gone

Every warehouse, on every military base in NATO countries with propositioned supplies, gone.

Every friendly European port where US Navy ships refuel, closed.

The US will be basically locked out of the Mediterranean, and the locked into the Atlantic coastal waters and what friendly ports we might still have in the Pacific outside of our own.

All to satisfy the ego of an 80 year old man child, that can't accept being told "no" by a country or a woman that he's trying to screw.
