Won SEC in 2017 and lost the championship game 2018 & 2019. Not exactly falling one step each year. Offense is experiencing turnover but defense was and is still loaded. We may have to grind out wins 2-0 but there’s no way we lose 3 next season. Bama is a toss up since they are losing offensive playmakers and we have Auburn at home. MuLLLen can’t beat UGA and while things look good for UT right now, you’ll be leaning on an inexperienced QB just like us.
Yet reading their boards they are a perennial blue blood program, I get optimism but their year in and year out belief that they actually matter in college football boarders on the clinically insane. In the last 17 seasons (51 games) they have 5 wins. So they are 46-5 vs (UT, GA, FL) in the last 17 years. They have beaten UT and GA twice, FL once. Kentucky football has been terrible for 50 years.
Georgia drops A&M for Bama next year so with Bama and Auburn from the West and improvement from UT and UF it certainly is possible they lose 3, especially if they drop a game to someone like SC again.Agreed however, they are going to have a setback on offense IMO. The loss of Fromm and OL departures will be challenging to replace. They are most likely a 9-3 team easily with the talent remaining on their roster accompanied with new talent in the 2020 class but QB will be a big question mark.
I've been a ghost reader for awhile on here. Usually just laugh at the roller coaster ride your program is on from the ultimate down of losing your opener to a GSU team that had no business winning that game to the Everest highs of beating Indiana by one point. Don't get me wrong, the 6 game win streak is impressive but the majority of y'all are completely delusional when it comes to where your program actually is. This year you hit middle of the pack. I think next year you will be between 7-5 and 9-4..leaning more towards the 9-4 area, but still in no way would uga trade any position you have for what we have.
Mathis is practicing without contact currently and hopefully is cleared to play this spring. Even though he is a bulldog, I hope he recovers from cranial surgery and can play. He has the size 6'6'' and speed to be pretty good.4 star QB from last season may never play again due to a medical condition and Beck is so game ready that they’ve recruited their azzes off to land Wake Forest’s starter. Their LONE returning starter is Pickens. He’s legit but if you’re claiming their untested offense is PROVEN better you’re holding on to a dead narrative like one of Titanic’s overturned lifeboats.
You could be right, there’s so many players coming and going across the whole sport it’s hard to keep track.I think you have transfers mixed up with players going pro. We haven't had an inordinate amount of players transferring. The only transferring starter that I'm sure would start next year is Mays. Do you know of others?
I'm not saying we will have a better year next year. I'm saying we have a better 5, 10, 20 year outlook. And they know it. I say we win as many, or more, SEC championships in that time.Let's not get crazy...I believe we may have a shot, for the first time in a few years, at beating them next year. But to say they're envious of us is, to be blunt, a little delusional. Or, to be more precise, significantly delusional.
Coming from the fanbase that's taking over the nation because they won 8 games and had a couple of decent players come in? Yeah we're the most annoying fanbase![]()

Cant swear here bro. I cant say "Hey you f%$#($g r3#@##s Georgia has been a good team for decades and the wheels aren't coming off.."Dude....what are you a child? Come on troll you can do better than that.
Read an article this morning saying the young man with the brain cyst removed is the second coming of Trevor Daniels. 6'6" 215 lbs, out of Detroit. Expects to be cleared for 100% contact by May. He's rehabbed and been running scout team, so we'll see.

UGA didn’t make the playoffs in 2018 or 2019. In 2018 UGA lost the Sugar Bowl to Texas and UGA won the Sugar Bowl in 2019.2017 - UGA won SEC, lost National Championship game
2018 - Lost SEC Champ game. Made CFP, but didn’t make the National Championship game because got knocked out in round 1. (1 step back)
2019 - Lost SEC Champ game, did not even make college football playoff. (1 more step back)
2020 prediction - UGA does not win SEC East (would be 1 more step back)
Someone is severely pumping this kid up if that’s what the article said. Beck was rated higher than Mathis. Think Mathis was around the 250-300 range while Beck was 200. I hope Mathis does well, feel bad for any kid sidelined for medical issues outside their control.Read an article this morning saying the young man with the brain cyst removed is the second coming of Trevor Daniels. 6'6" 215 lbs, out of Detroit.
