'20 GA ATH Arik Gilbert (LSU commit)

LSU is on the verge of an era of bama-level dominance. Brady just blew the lid of a sleeping giant and they’ve got the horses to keep it up for years.

Agree. Can’t figure out how a team with so much talent year after year couldn’t figure out how to throw or the QB position. They likely left a number of natty’s on the table due to their philosophy.

Yep, and this ultimately helps us. I think LSU beats bama this year. The 5star parade to bama prob starts to slow down a bit. Bama starts missing out on SEC champs, national titles, etc. All the while the UT/BAMA talent gap shrinks bit by bit. If nov9 goes the way I think it will, it’ll be marked as the start of the next chapter of the SEC power hierarchy.

Said that I would mention something that was apparent on Gilbert all along. It’s also proof silents don’t mean what they once did, or public commits for that matter. AG pinned the date he originally silently committed on his Twitter. I kept waiting for that to be taken down, never did. Don’t think Bama gives up on AG but they are going full blast on Washington, trying to get Theo to visit them as well.

They have been avg 5 a year but only 5 in the last two cycles, have 3 currently. Nick’s age is really becoming a factor behind the scenes and it’s much easier to sell his future retirement.

Had he picked Bama, I would have said it’s over. LSU feels like an impulse decision so I’d say no....but then again he’s been so methodical about his recruitment, everything so closely held to the vest and carefully thought out so, on 2nd thought, I think he might stick.

Someone once said, “stop letting other people upset you”. Maybe they wrote it or something about having peace.

Harrison Bailey...

I’M ONLY KIDDING.,.lol
Seriously, they have Max Johnson. Brad Johnson’s son and Mark Richt’s nephew

Hopefully they really like their two QBs committed because they have Gilbert, Burton and Jarrett committed who are three guys Bailey has relationships with. Stings that JG sucked so bad to get us off to bad start because Gilbert and Jarrett would have looked nice in orange
