I think the answer to this question also reveals what happens to DW. At this point it seems very hard to believe we don’t lead for AG, and harder to believe we lead for DW.Still don’t like our chances? @Atlanta VOL
I don't think that Georgia is worried when it comes to recruiting. Their classes have been sick under Kirbs. Just as long as they keep underachieving and we gets some Ws I'm cool with it.If we nab him along with Keyton, Harrison and Ojulari that would obviously be quite the coup, and also set a tone for vol recruiting in the heart of GA that will be embarrassing for the dawgs. Smart and co know this and will be after him hard, hopefully our willingness to play him at wr combined with the massive peer pressure he must be facing on the daily will be enough.
You could be right and of course I know that we are nowhere close to their level in recruiting YET. But, it makes me happy to think that just maybe it puts a damper on smarts day when he sees yet another highly rated recruit from Marietta pick us so I’ll choose to keep thinking it.I don't think that Georgia is worried when it comes to recruiting. It hurts if they miss out and then miss on Washington or Johnson. Instate recruiting is big if you can’t recruit nationally, but it seems Kirby has gotten UGA to that point.Agree. UGA would never admit it but losing Gilbert to us would hurt big time. Losing the top 2 players in GA? Thats pretty big.
