Empty Neyland Movement (#uncluttervolnation)

I saw this on twitter today and thought it was a great idea. Instead of some stupid empty Neyland movement, how about you donate your unwanted tickets to local organizations. Let’s give these kids the opportunity to experience Neyland Stadium. Look at this way- Hell, if we don’t, they’re likely to grow up to be Bama fans, and do we really want them to have to suffer like that as adults? :p

They can get tickets and go to the stadium, but they still won't have been to a game.

He gone.

They re worried about Currie kicking a dead carp off the dock instead of hooking a trophy.

Let’s hope. The longer he remains employed, the greater chance they try to cram him down our throats another year.

He can kick BJ to curb now & still hook a trophy. Not mutually exclusive.

As for me, I won’t support subpar slop until we it’s announced we have a new captain leading this ship. I’m a small voice but they won’t get my $25-40 in concessions not will they have a fanny in the seat for TV

People should simply not renew their season tickets...that would show the administration more than an empty stadium...

Don't be obtuse..it is an indication of the support(future ticket sales, donations, etc) going forward should they decide to keep butch

Unreal that some don’t understand this. Clearly folks that don’t operate a for-profit, customer centric business. “The ticket is already paid for” argument is one made by folks who don’t know how customer satisfaction works.

They want CBJ fired before the game, so they can go to the game.

They are sacrificing something they love for something they love.

They are the true heros.

I'm a selfish bum that will go to the game every chance I get.

I thank them for their sacrifice for my benefit as well.

They won so easily, they had to double down and ask for more. They have UT by the short hairs and want to get their money's worth.

I'm selfish, they are greedy.

You get 50k sat and it sends a strong signal to the AD..that 2018 w butch is untenable and should he choose to defy the will of the vast majority of fans and it doesn't work out now HE is losing HIS job..s3lf preservation is important

The longer he stays the worst his record gets. So that makes no sense.

Blindly following the next captain because he isn't Jones is not very prudent either.
On a good note you may could buy a new car in a few years with the savings.

So you believe that gameday fans pulling enough $ from the ADs pocket is gonna force Jones out? Assuming you think hes coming back until Currie announces that hes fired.

this is a horrible movement its okay to give up on butch but to give up on players is insane. fill the stadium up and root for these kids..[/

The "movement" set their goals too low. They wanted to see the administration doing something about Butch. Well after the "movement" picked up momentum(6 boycotters), the administration orchestrated a story about a tweet concerning a rumor about CBJ's buyout being negotiated.

Now these clowns think they won. Don't tell them that even the rumor says it started 4 weeks ago. Let them think they instigated the change they wanted.......the release of

Per Jimmy Hyams that SDS article was false no buyout had been reached and Sexton was not looking for other places of employment. Now whose the clown someone spewing fake news, or Jimmy Hyams who is basically butch's lap dog.

Yes..you ever heard of a leading economic indicator?

Since I believe Jones is already gone, and I take the word of those here that it's a massive enough hit that Currie is forced to act.

Will the #movement kindly line up after we snag TN Techs coach for lack of funds for a nut shot?

What a loser mentality

I'll be shocked if 75,000 people are there at the start. Hyams is saying he thinks it will have an impact and he expects 65,000 there. That's close to 40,000 empty seats. Did you see the stadium for UMass? It was a one possession game in the 4th quarter and there were 50,000+ empty seats.

You're fooling yourself if you don't think there would be a significant impact on season ticket sales if all the people who were upset and not going decided to do as you two suggest and become Alabama or Georgia donors/fans.

Kentucky was pretty empty in the 4th Q --

So you don't think that money will be missed in a few weeks when Currie inks the next guy?

Either your coke $ matters or it doesn't. You pick.

It is an indicator of the financial support they can expect going foreward but it will have little impact on the balance sheet in the very short term
