this is a horrible movement its okay to give up on butch but to give up on players is insane. fill the stadium up and root for these kids..[/
The "movement" set their goals too low. They wanted to see the administration doing something about Butch. Well after the "movement" picked up momentum(6 boycotters), the administration orchestrated a story about a tweet concerning a rumor about CBJ's buyout being negotiated.
Now these clowns think they won. Don't tell them that even the rumor says it started 4 weeks ago. Let them think they instigated the change they wanted.......the release of
Per Jimmy Hyams that SDS article was false no buyout had been reached and Sexton was not looking for other places of employment. Now whose the clown someone spewing fake news, or Jimmy Hyams who is basically butch's lap dog.
I know right. How did UT get a story written on a tweet about a rumor that is now being denounced by other media outlets?
I forgot there is a Billionaire involved. Those guys know how to get exactly what they want done.....done.
Let them have their victory.
They want to go to the game. Of they think they won they will go.
Win win
It is an indicator of the financial support they can expect going foreward but it will have little impact on the balance sheet in the very short term
Don't overthink it. This isn't a finance exam.
I promise you the university will notice if 30k fans don't attend the remaining football game. They've planned their year around receiving that revenue.
They want CBJ fired before the game, so they can go to the game.
They are sacrificing something they love for something they love.
They are the true heros.
I'm a selfish bum that will go to the game every chance I get.
I thank them for their sacrifice for my benefit as well.
They won so easily, they had to double down and ask for more. They have UT by the short hairs and want to get their money's worth.
I'm selfish, they are greedy.

Everybody knows Butch is gone.
I keep hearing "everybody" say that but still wake up every morning to the news that Sgt Carter is still right where he was the night before. You obviously underestimate the UT Administration's ability to kick the fans in the groin if we let down our guard for one single second.
At this point, the decision has been made with Butch. No other speaking is needed.
Its better to FILL Neyland and remind our NEXT COACH that we are the absolute best fans in football.
