Hope Dobbs stays healthy, but history shows us it's just not likely for any QB running Butch's offense. Then you throw in this porous OL. Fact is, QD is likely to get some meaningful snaps at some point and letting him run the full offense any chance you get is the best way to protect the team's fortunes going forward. No matter who the backup QB is, he has to be ready to step in and run the offense and letting him run the full offense, even in garbage time, is the best way to groom/develop him should be be needed to play in some important games later in the season.
Agree wholeheartedly. I still say (and it infuriates the Dobbites) that Dormady may be the kind of QB that takes over, and does not readily relinquish the job. He has a level of accuracy in the passing game that I do not believe Dobbs possesses. We'll see.....I truly hope we do not find out this year.
