Dobbs is not the answer

Butch has pulled Worley and Peterman for much less. Let Dobbs sit one series and let Nate or the Wegzyn (spelling?) in. Can not get worse and maybe Dobbs needs to see what the defense is doing from the sideline.

His arm is just extremely weak. Like that seam route to Wharton that was almost picked. He was wide open. But the ball was thrown about 5 yards short.

Yep. There was a reason Worley was starting. Hopefully one of the freshmen coming in can step up early.

Butch was right when he tried to temper expectations after bama and SC. He could be the QB of the future if we had a top 5 d, better skill positions and a better line..... I know, that's asking a lot.

As long as the one receiver he looks at on each play is wide open....we'll be fine.

You're all high on crack. Dobbs is good. He's not a prolific passer...yet, but he keeps us in games with his legs. I like Dobbs and Coach Jake. Stop crying you whiny little girls and support team 118

I love this forum! A couple weeks ago Dobbs was "the answer" and a heisman candidate and questions on why he hasn't played every snap since coming to UT.

One week everyone is praising Dobbs and saying he is a potential Heisman candidate next season. Tonight everyone is back to saying he sucks and doesn't have it. Any reasonable fan knew there would be ups and downs with Dobbs. Butch clearly said he wasn't consistent in practice, and it is showing tonight. Maybe he will never be what we want him to be, but he will be the best option we have on our roster next season, and I believe he will be improved by quite a bit too. Before its all said and done, Dobbs will be a good solid SEC qb.
