Pretty sure you have it unlocked now. After turning in the 3 bounties we did on Earth, it opens.

Don't bother with the URN missions. 1.5-2.5 hours to earn a pair of 33 light gloves. Waste o time.

Loved doing the nightfall last night and getting a helmet for another class. Awesome.

Nightfall is super tough to solo. However, adding a second person can make it much easier with this safe spot.

Oh, so I can upgrade an exotic without having it fully unlocked? My Ice Breaker is brand spankin new. I don't even have the first upgrade on it.

Ah, I just looked on YouTube. That's pretty cool. I don't have Thorn yet! It's one of the upgradables. I guess I need to finish that bounty before the weekend is over.

I'm going with the Suros, too. That will allow you to regain some health in areas that don't allow it in the new raid.

Probably do ARMAMENTARIUM as well but no idea what the roll is on the new one.

I finished upgrading my new Ice Breaker last night. Leveling them didn't seem to take nearly as long as the original exotics did.

So new exotic armor acquired after DLC have a hire defense rating right? Like 330 or something instead of 300 like exotic weapons? And light goes to 36 isn't it?

Just want to make sure. I have a Helm of Inmost Light, but it's light cap is 30. Probably gonna buy a helmet engram from Xur(I think people said he's got those today), but want to make sure I'm getting something better.

I bought a helmet engram. Caps at 36 light and 447 defense.

Took me 2 tries today but I got the Helm of Saint-14. Sweet. That seems to be the preferred choice for the new raid.

It's nice for the first part. One of our guys had it equipped and it was helpful when your waiting to build the bridge with waves of enemies coming at you.

My helmet engram turned into the glasshouse. But I'm considering going back try for helm of saint 14

I went ahead and did them. Would have taken just as much time to do get the vanguard/faction/crucible marks to get a piece of new gear, may as well do something fun and different to get it.

It's no joke though. The missions get progressively harder as time goes on.

I'm probably gonna do a glimmer grind tomm and put in as many upgrades on my exotics as I can in the event Xur gets stingy with good exotic upgrades. Some weapons he's only sold once. And then you see the same crap every other week for others.

Already upgraded Suros and Ice Breaker. Gonna do Armamentarium tomm and probably Thunderlord and Thorn. I have TLW, but honestly I don't use hand cannons very much. I'd use Thorn over TLW since they buffed it.

I upgraded my Thunderlord. I can confirm that thing slays folks. My IB is fully upgraded now. I think I may try and get enough to do the Suros as well. That health regen could be useful during crota.

Been using it for awhile now, it's a damn beast in crucible.

Started using The Last Word today, pretty fun.

Just did it in the front room. Took us about 15 minutes to kill her. I wanted to use that glitch spot but was afraid I'd die getting there and wouldn't get revived. Just used patience.

The room is quick if you don't mind going through some synthesis. I ran it with a couple of my friends on our second characters and the heavy synthesis wasn't working. We wouldn't get our heavy ammo. And since it was our second characters I didn't have any special synthesis.

We got her down to about 25% health left and it got down to my buddy taking fire while my Icebreaker built up 6 rounds. Then I'd switch to Paitence and Time, then we'd swap out. Painfully slow.

He got Dragon's Breath and I got Hard Light.

I basically just used the Murmur the entire time. Had to use a few synths but oh well. It was worth it. Got the shards I needed to hit 31.

Crota's Raid: If you can get a bridge checkpoint (or get stuck there), you can solo it fairly easily.

Just hop up on the columns around the plate area and shoot across the bridge. After awhile, the witches will pop. Kill one. Bit later, the ogres will come out. Kill both and you're done and the drop will be awarded.

Obviously an Ice Breaker is ideal, but if not, take some special ammo synth. Probably going to need it. Or, hop down, kill thrall, collect ammo, and then get back on a pillar.

This game is losing me. I feel like I have to put in so many hours a week to keep up, so when I lose the interest to put in that amount of time, I start to feel like it's pointless to play at all.


I got Farcry for my birthday! I haven't played it yet.
