Da Reds thread

I'm not even sure you can say loyalty to a fault. He makes decisions that high school Harry's shake their heads at.

It's his schtick. He keeps getting jobs because the veterans on his teams sing his praises and the young guys he never gives a shot don't get a chance to comment on him.

Fredi is Whitey Herzog compared to Dusty. Remember, Brainless blew a World Series by pulling a pitcher just so he could get an ovation for his great performance. On the F'n road.

True. Hanson would have 1,506 IP by now with Dusty.

Fredi actually isn't that bad, but his bullpen managament is terrible.

Was that Game 6 of the 2002 WS? Who was the pitcher?

Btw, i really hate continuing to run Volquez out there and think that Lecure is a fully capable substitute, so I am scared ****less that Willis will probably be up soon

It would be impossible for Cozart to be worse than the current shortstop play and Alonso/Sapplet/Frazier/Any Outfielder with a pulse would be an upgrade over Gomes.

I agree. We finally one a game, although, we should have never have given them the opportunity to come back. That falls solely on Dusty.

Cozart is getting the call today.

Where did you see this vkb, or are you just making an assumption? I would not be opposed at all. They need a guy to come in and hopefully breath some life. That is if they actually give him a chance to play. Knowing Dusty he may just use him as a PH, rather than let him actually get some playing time. Dusty is so predictable it makes me sick. I can't count the number of times that I have said what was going to happen before it happens when it comes to Dusty.

Just spoke to his dad and Zack got the call about 12:30am this morning. He just caught a plane from Louisville to Milwaukee.

I've got a family friend in Louisville that works with the Bats. According to him the only question is what the corresponding move will be.

Nce, thanks robbins and vkb. I really hope he does well. At least it is something to get excited about. Where does the active roster stand?Does Renteria or Jaish get the dfa? I really hope they keep Cairo on the bench versus some of the other blanks we have on the roster.

It is either going to be Edgar DFA'd or Janish optioned. I assume it will be the latter.
