He's been walking less than 2.4 batters per 9 innings this year. Unless he just completely unravels I expect him to be serviceable which is more that I expect out of Volquez. 6 IP, 2 ER, 6 H, 2 walks, 4 Ks.

This season's pitching has been an absolute disaster, which I was not at all expecting. We can't win a game with a big lead for one bad inning destroying every single game. Just mind baffling. 20 one run losses this year so far. If we had even won 1/3 of those we would be sitting pretty in the standings. God I hope dustbag is gone after this year.
