I've asked numerous times for someone to tell us what a Cuonzo Martin coached team does well. I haven't gotten any answers (missing free throws doesn't count). His teams have no identity. They look clueless too many times. That falls on the coach because he doesn't know what to tell them to do.

Correct, though cheek is alot of the problem bruce has no interest in coaching at Tennessee again. It may piss alot of people off but if Memphis goes on a coaching search this spring I can guarantee you bruce will be at the top of that list

shut the hell up. this team is one of the most talented in Tennessee history and we are underachieving like every year Cuonzo has been coach

This game was our season and we had a week off to prepare. Yeah we still have UF on the schedule but we beat them last year along WITH having decent OOC wins and didn't make the tourney. Not happening this year.

What sucks is that some other team is going to hire Bruce and get a great coach. And we're going to be stuck with Martin.

Maymon is the best player on the team. Just ask any of the martinites if he wasn't the reason we didn't go dancing last year because they posted it a million times.

Maymon was the best player on the team when he got hurt. Right now he needs less minutes.

I said at the start of the year tournament or gone, he has no excuses this year he has his players and all are very talented. Pearl would be busting arze with this talent, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease bring back Pearl!!!

I think the bigger concern is the losses to Xavier and UTEP. If we win those games it's alright to lose on the road to Wichita. Since we lost those, it became a must win game in a way. Having 3 losses in early December with a weak schedule is not encouraging. We are not on the tournament radar and if we play well in the weak SEC down the stretch, I still don't think we get in. Like the past 2 years, we've dug ourselves in an early hole. Disappointing considering how much experience our team has and realizing that outside of McRae, they are all the same players as 2 years ago. No development or improvement.

Yes, it was #12 Wichita St on the road. However, we are freaking TENNESSEE!! There is no reason we shouldn't be better than them. Cuonzo can't coach talent and he sure as hell can't coach with less talent. Remember when Bruce beat Kansas with an underdog depleted squad? That's what we need and that's not what Cuonzo can bring.
I hate that it's come to this, but I gotta pull a Dooley and root for him to lose so we can fire his ass!
