The OP is 100% correct!!! This team doesn't come close to the tourney. IF they do, by some miracle... 1 and done. Why Barton and Stokes play as much as they do us mind blowing. They bring NOTHING to the table.

You gotta win those ******n games to make the tournament ! If you lose them all the time including other games against lesser opponents you will be a bad team. The head coaches of bad teams get fired ! Tennessee is a bad team... Counzo should be fired. Hes not working. And we keep losing... Are you catching on ? Do you understand the "stupidty" we have now ? I dont know how else to put it to you so you can grasp what people are upset about. I want to "realistically" expect to win games again. Dont you ? See, if you cant "realistically" expect wins anymore that is a sign that the team is bad and the coach needs to be fired. Are we really that stupid or are you really THAT stupid ?

Other than pearl, hamilton hired nobodies. Raliegh, DD, and martin were unsuccessful prior to tennessee. You get what you hire.

Hard fought loss.
I do think we'll continue to struggle on the road this season in conference.
With 5 losses on the road we'll most likely be chasing the bubble again.

I don't think it is bad we lost. Wichita State is a very good team. One of the best in the country. Tennessee is NCAA worthy, but I am afraid Tennessee's RPI is not going to be good enough to get in. I believe the selection committee went strictly by the RPI last year. This is why this was such a big game today. It would have really boosted their rating.

There is a reason Memphis let Barton go...Stokes lack of presence baffles me...I thought he would just dominate...too soft.

Martin should be fired.If some of you people wanna put up with mediocrity that's your perogative. Not me.I said before the season started if we didn't make the tournament Martin should go.Guess what, this team isn't gonna make it!

We lost to a top 15 team that we should've beaten, with us having better talent from top to bottom.

It's not that you lose, its how and why, and we continue to lose the same ways over and over to teams we should not.
