So is this fake or what? Has anyone actually seen or heard from Butch? Have any recruits said he's been to see them since the Vandy game? The only thing that makes me wonder is the 3 decomitts and Marquez Bembry had a vague tweet someone posted.

He was my favorite QB. I bet we lose some assistants so Shoop will get his guys.

I'll get flamed from people not smart enough to know Clawson can coach, but I often wonder: what if UT left things intact another year? Tajh Boyd and others coming in, Aaron Douglas, etc. Let him develop his system. I honestly regret my stance then. I wish we could have seen it play out another year. Clawson would have been HC eventually. Latrell Scott wasnt bad either although his dui trouble has hindered his career

You can't play without that many people gone. It's just not possible, it catches up to you. We aren't deep like bama or Florida right now. Bama has recruited number 1 for 8 straight years.

He saw it on twitter and is trying to look like an insider. You think Butch Jones told players and recruits he is leaving and they haven't said a word??? Its a total lie.

I wasn't sure, but I'd heard that from somebody I figured would know.

In addition, the best defenses are built from the inside out. Today they want to be multiple, meaning they want to be able to be a 4-3 front and a 3-4 front while running different stuff (nickel) in the back end...but you have to take away running between the tackles...Think, Suh, Haynesworth, etc...

We lost O'Brien, that was huge in terms of being multiple and the losses of Tuttle and Mckenzie as well as the MLB and Safety...that is very difficult to overcome and it forces everyone to try to overcompensate and the trust in knowing where everyone is s'posed to be gets lost...that's probably being over simplistic, but to me the last couple of games, defensively, that's what it looked like.

Barnett was getting his, Vereen was getting his...but we were weak in the one place you can't be weak. The middle of the field.
