Bryce Brown Gone

If my CB gets beat to the outside by a RB, then I don't want him. CB's should always be slightly faster than a RB. Having a RB that can stretch the outside and beat a CB is a gift.

We are talking about WKU here, not Florida. He never ran hard or with much of a purpose, I think the coaches reactions show they agreed with me on that play. Not saying that some day he wouldn't be better, but desire you are born with not coached into.

1. He's going to be a fine RB.
2. His ceiling is likely higher than any of the backs we currently have.
3. But there is no reason to jump off a bridge over this as a fan. We will be fine, at least at that position. Maybe not as dynamic, but there's some speed at the position still, and definitely some power.

Players come and players go. Coaches are supposed to provide the continuity for team development. CDD may do well if he has time. Look at Bo Pellini at Nebraska. They may break it out in a couple of years, but the program was way down. I don't think Tennessee sunk to the depths that Nebraska did, but we took some huge hits quickly. As a fan base all we can do is continue to support the team. We'll be back, it's just a matter of when.

Your way off on this one, but it's your opinion.

If he transfers before the end of a full year, he has to sit for 2 years per Wes Rucker

Many of you are so deep in the doolaid you can't see.

Everyone was praising Kiffin for stealing Bryce last year, now he's overrated and you didn't want him here?

Oh, and it's a bad sign when the coach says he hasn't spoken to a star player then that player leaves the next day.

Unreal, go and watch the press conference. He clearly says he has talked to Bryce multiple times...

For some reason I'm not even upset about it. We will be ok. Poole & Oku will love the opportunity to shine. This might even work out better for UT. If he's not happy, let him go. No need to down Bryce, he's a good character kid.

Brown is dealing with a number personal and family issues, according to Coach Dooley. I read that in John Brice's article on VolQuest.com. So, right now, Bryce is off to deal with those issues, and he is still going through this semester.

the ones saying he was an overrated, unrealized potential prospect are stupid.

he was a true freshman in the SEC playing behind a senior back that finished in the top 3 of the conference. oh dear lord, he sucked!!!!!11111

something isn't right IMO

i'd really like to know what triggered this

Maybe Kiffin promised him the starting position once Hardesty was gone and Dooley told him it was wide open again.

Maybe he doesnt like the offense we are going to run. Maybe its a wide open offense that is just not ground and pound, where hes going to see 25 touches a game.
