i dont hope him the best i hope he never plays again and aftwr he sits out a year he will have to battle for pt and he may start his senior year, and honestly the things i have heard about pooke and the other backs we have im not sure he would even start if he stayed so good ridance
There is plenty of good RB on this team. Also Poole has never really got a good shot and I believe he is SEC caliber. If BB wants to leave, I'm not going to talk bad about him for wanting to go home. It's real hard for a 18 year old kid to leave home. There is always attrition when there is a new coach come in.
Family is a big draw for Bryce, if he leaves to go home and play around his family, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It sucks seeing him leave, if this is a permanent thing, but this is still Tennessee and we have a good backfield. So, please don't make this anything bigger than it really is at this point. Just wish the young man well, and move on.
I have never said he "sucked" but there was certainly nothing great about what he showed last year. It may have been him making the adjustment. It may have been injuries. But I have consistently said the same things about him.I agree. You can't just say a player sucks because he leaves your team.
No. We really wouldn't. I've been blasted but have consistently said that from what I'd seen Poole was a better RB than Brown. If he was still at UT we would all be saying he was awesome and going to be doing great things this year.
He had couple good runs against WKU, one resulting in an injury and the other he got chewed out because he decided to run out of bounds instead of score a TD. He ran like that consistently last year.
The absolute most you could say about Bryce Brown was that he was a talent... a "diamond in the rough". Both Poole and Oku showed more RB skills in their limited PT than Brown.
By this time last year, Abrams-Ward, Bailey, Sawtelle, and several others were gone. Subsequently, Coleman and Donald left.
Everyone seemed to think it was great that CLK was cleaning house. So far this year, Brimfield left because he was lazy and Brown may be leaving because of some type of personal issue.
You are inconsistent to say the very least.
If my running back can't beat a corner and score a TD, then I don't want him. Especially with on the talent level of WKU.
