They are taking money from his family. I'm not sure that he doesn't care. He just had bigger fish to fry at the time.
I don't think he noticed that they took some. With that massive pile that he never counted put into 55 gallon barrels there's no way he could tell. I'm sure he had his suspicions, but I don't think he cared even if they took a handful off stacks. Hence the "close enough" comment.
Being the person that he is, I'm sure he chalked it up as acceptable loss to have the money transported. At this point he and Saul make it seem like it's the only thing that can connect him to meth manufacturing.
I think back to season 2 when Walt chewed out Jesse over breakage. That was only over an ounce of meth and a few thousand dollars.
Walt may have so much going on with Hank that he doesn't care but I don't think he will let being stolen from go unanswered.
Stolen? It was the cost of doing business for what he needed done.
It's a non issue and will never be addressed. He has bigger concerns.
Y'all may be right but I'm sticking with my guess that Walt doesn't just let it go.
The only thing I can see happening would be if the crap really hits the fan, Walt goes all out Scarface, and when meeting with Saul pulls out a gun and shoots both of his goons before they knew what hit them and said something like "That's for stealing my money".
But I have a feeling in a week or so those 2 will be so far removed from his "How Much I Care" meter than he may not even remember them at all, much less they took money from him. He's about to be neck deep in it.
Jesse is going to fold like a lawn chair.
I'm really curious about the ending with Walt having a head full of hair. Does he beat cancer again? Jack Bauer hasn't narrowly escaped death as much as this guy.
I don't know about your first assertion.
Jesse is all over the place in his head, but I just don't see him folding and ending up as a rat. Could be wrong but I don't see it.

I'm sorry you feel this way. I want to beat this thing, I do. I'm back on chemo and I'm fighting like hell. But the truth is... in six months you won't have someone to prosecute. Even, even if somehow you were able to convince anyone that I was capable of doing these things. You and I both know I would never see the inside of a jail cell.
Nah, we know the cancer is back because we've seen the side effects and him doing the chemo treatements.
Unless.... He's taking the treatments only as a "precaution" when its really still in remission (this happens occasionally for people who are terminal anyway and want to live longer or try to live longer and gives doctors chances to study the effects more). Or even, he paid them off to give him more treatments to make everyone think he had cancer again so that it would be feasible to fake his own death, making the reason his neighbor was so terrified NOT because she saw the dreaded Heisenburg, but because she saw a dead man.
Yep, I'm now running with this crazy idea till I'm proven wrong. Walt fakes having cancer again to fake his own death to escape the charges.
I just mean we've got Walt saying he's never going to see the inside of a jail and Hank won't have anyone to prosecute, and given that we've seen Walt in the future with a full head a hair and an m60 in the truck......it doesn't look like he has cancer to me. At least not anymore.
In the past his cancer was a huge part of the show. Doctor visits, and him feeling sorry for himself, and family lamenting. This time they just snuck it in there. No doctor visits, no family, no self pity. It's like, oh yea by the way Walt's cancer is back cheers!"
It just felt a little contrived by Walt is all.
