Breaking Bad on amc

Outstanding first episode back.
Remind me what happened with ricin. I don't think I caught that.

Tread Lightly!

Walt and Jesse were going to use ricin to poison Tuco but Hector stopped him from eating the poisoned food.

Walt was going to use Jesse to slip the ricin into Gus' food. He had the ricin hidden inside a cigarette pack.

When Brock got sick, Jesse feared he had gotten into the ricin.

Walt has kept tr ricin hidden inside the wall for a time it would be needed. It appears that time has arrived.

I'm not sure he'll be the first, but I'm pretty convinced Jesse is going to die. Either by killing himself or Walt will be forced to.

I think that Hank made a fatal mistake confronting Walt so soon. Walt now knows that Hank is a problem, and Walt doesn't like problems.

For sure, but Hank still isn't totally aware of the monster that Walt has become.

Kind of sounds like he knows exactly what he's become. The mistake was saying anything before he's prepared to arrest him.

He doesn't know about half the people he's killed or how he's done it, or how he stayed away from suspicion for so long. Hell, he has no clue that he's the master of a european countries meth product. Walt, if he wanted, could get his family and go to europe and forever be out of jurisdiction of the U.S.

But, that'd mean his pride would be damaged forever, and he is not going to let that happen.

I kind of feel Hank will be one of the last to go, if he does die.

I think there will be some kind of agreed upon stalemate between Hank and Walt. Both knowing the other can take them down so they go about their own ways.

But something has to happen to Walt because of the neighbors reaction when he came back to his house.

Does he know he had a hand in killing that kid? Walter is monster enough to kill Hank. If Hank had realized that I think he would have played it closer to the vest.

Just watched the episode. Good stuff.

I feel like Walt Jr., dies. he is the most innocent person in the whole show, outside of the baby. I always expect to be shocked by this show. Gotta say though, I would be really bummed off if they do kill him.

I would not be sad to see Hank killed.

With the way Lydia was complaining about the quality of product dropping, I believe the Russian mob gets involved.

If you watched Talking bad afterwards, the hint given was "Lydia will be boxed in" from Vince, which makes me think someone is getting buried six feet deep alive.

Thanks. Missed that. Gotta set that to dvr as well.

Didn't she actually say the line, "you're putting me in a box."?

I think Hank realized he may have overplayed it a bit once Walt went into Heisenberg mode. He doesn't have anything yet and just tipped off a guy he always believed to be very dangerous. He had put the pieces together but until that last moment in the garage he had never truly connected the man in front of him, his friend, to the monster he was looking for

what a great scene though. They seemed to really nail it and kudos to the writers for giving us that in the first episode. I figured they would draw it out a bit

I did as well but I'm glad they didn't. Only 7 episodes left to get a lot in.

:cray:

I thought at first that Hank was gonna have a heart attack and the secret was gonna go to the grave for an episode or two right then.
