I expected The Shield or Rescue Me or The Andy Griffith Show, something. Big Bang Theory? Friends?
Might as well throw Moesha and Grey's Anatomy in there as well.
Hank reclassified "Heisenberg" as a "monster" after the prison purge...if he had pegged Walt BEFORE that, he may not have been as bent on his destruction.
That's a tough one. I didn't watch a lot of TV when I was younger. But in no particular order here are some shows I liked much better.
Mash
Friends
Jag
Call of Duty (never heard of it)
Walking Dead (good show, but nowhere near my top 10)
Sopranos (great show)
Falling Skies (no idea)
Big Bang Theory
About all I can name off the top of my head. I guess it's a generational thing, my son loved BB.
Hmmm....I don't really think Hank cares that Walt killed criminals in prison.
Hank was every bit as prideful as Walt. The thing that pissed Hank off more than anything is that Walt had duped him for a year.
I think he cared...he was in total shock afterwards. Before that he was chasing something totally different.
Yeah, I don't see what the big deal is. I liked BB the first 2 maybe 3 seasons, it was ok. Not great but ok.
I think he cared in that it was tying up loose ends that he wanted to pursue, making the case harder to solve. Hank was all about the job and he never really cared about right or wrong.
Remember when Hank thought Walt was going to kill Jesse at the meetup, and had no issue using Pinkman as bait? Even when Gomez called him on it.
I give his character a little more credit apparently...agree to disagree.
I'm glad I didn't because then I would have had to wait so far in between to watch the next episode, like how we have to wait for TWD. I binged watched season 1-5 of BB in like 2-3 weeks lol. Then I watched season 5 as it went.
I just think the hype machine hurt it for me way too much. If had watched from when it first started I think I might have enjoyed it more.
The 'hype machine' problem only works if the event/concert/episode/movie doesn't live up to the hype. BB did in every way. Just because something has hype doesn't mean the work is somehow tainted.
It didn't for me. I didn't say it was tainted. I'm saying it being hyped up to me by people for a few years, probably hurt my outlook on it. I probably would have viewed it differently if I had watched it from the jump.
