Absolutely. A paycheck like regular students that work since they want to have the same opportunities as everyone else. Clock in at practice. Lose time if you are late. Suspended without pay for multiple unexcused absences. Weekly checks while employed. You can early enroll or not. Bonus pay for extra weight room or film time. Bonus incentive for performance. Yeah. All that. These NIL deals need to be changed from a "salary" to a game by game basis.
I don’t see anyone that is wishing for it. I think the guy was saying he’s be on the warm seat, he didn’t say he wants it or for him to be fired. It’s really okay to criticize this coach and not want him fired, but to get better at some things. It’s really okay.Yeah, I don't get some folks - they really don't understand what they are wishing.
That was between Hooker and BanksThere was supposedly a locker room altercation between Joe Milton and I believe it was Jeremy Banks the week before the SCar game. Banks was pretty vocal wrt his displeasure over Hooker’s NIL deal, started in on Hooker and Joe Milton supposedly put him on his @$$. Sounds like Joshua Josephs and Kitselman have had enough of Boo Carter as well, although I think they were the leaders of that player council and agreed to let him come back.
You're wild for this one dude. You guys were all crying that we were going to lose Carter last offseason. Heupel made him make up every single workout he missed before he could even practice, and he discussed this whole thing extensively with the player leadership council. Hell he didn't even play him for a while until he felt like he earned it. The thing that every single person in the organization talks about is the culture and the locker room. Every player in every interview talks about it. Boo is just an extremely misguided young man who is wasting a huge opportunity. You can get Heupel for a lot of things, but harboring a bad locker room is not one of them. He told his biggest investment to kick rocks when he tried to hold the team hostage. Seems like he's doing that again now.Because Heupel allowed it to. Kelly Washington II. Beginning of the end for Fulmer. Looks like history is repeating itself....again.
Losing Heupel would absolutely devastate this program and it would all be because of the vocal minority calling for his and his colleagues heads all of the time. If we lose Heupel, I want one thing clear... it's the Negavols fault. What if Heupel goes to LSU (I doubt it but for augment's sake). Not only do we lose a good coach, but it may result in Tristan Keys recommitting to LSU, and who know maybe Faizan would follow.
To me it could have devasting results in losing a great staff, and perhaps a great recruiting class! NO THANKS! I like what we have and they can stay for the next 20 years.
So they can unionize and demand more money, different working conditions, etc or go on strike?Absolutely. Yeah. Yes, but employee status likely means the end of student status (negotiated as optional, most likely) and the end of 5 years of eligibility maximum ("aging out" of a job becomes age discrimination legally for employees.)That’s already in progress and likely to happen anyway.
I don't like hearing criticism about our coach, but I think his skin is thicker than that. Besides for every person calling for his replacement there is a thousand who want him to stay. Plus he is well paid.Losing Heupel would absolutely devastate this program and it would all be because of the vocal minority calling for his and his colleagues heads all of the time. If we lose Heupel, I want one thing clear... it's the Negavols fault.
Sayonara. Should have happened a couple of games ago.Says it is now confirmed:

The vocal minority is just that, they aren’t dictating anything but the bluster inside their own bubble. They have no impact on Heupel or what the university does. The vast majority are clearly with Heupel and the administration knows it. Heupel isn’t going anywhere. He has the support and the vast majority of fans the the administration is fully behind him. GBOLosing Heupel would absolutely devastate this program and it would all be because of the vocal minority calling for his and his colleagues heads all of the time. If we lose Heupel, I want one thing clear... it's the Negavols fault.
What are you talking about?Losing Heupel would absolutely devastate this program and it would all be because of the vocal minority calling for his and his colleagues heads all of the time. If we lose Heupel, I want one thing clear... it's the Negavols fault.
I get where you’re coming from but somewhere you gotta put the 84 players who did the work, made the sacrifice & commitment over giving a guy a 2nd chance who did none of that. I posted this summer if this impacted the team during the season it was all on Josh. It has.I don't blame coach Heupel a bit. He tried to give a kid a second chance at a career he's worked so hard for. Too many handlers in his head qith hand held out. Hard to blame these kids qhen they get that much money in their hands football may become 2nd
