Boo's mom

I'm not anywhere close to an insider, but I'm hearing differently. I'm hearing that he's open to discussions with the right school, and that LSU is interested and intent on overpaying, especially in this cycle where there are lots of vacancies.
His agent would be a terrible agent if it wasn't "rumored" that Heupel is open to discussions with premier schools.

The name of the game for his agent is keeping his name out there when good jobs are open so that he has negotiation leverage.

He doesn't have to pimp Heupel as hard as Gundy was pimped but the "rumor" needs to be circulated a little bit. If Heupel seems cemented to UT, it's bad for his market value and his agent is tasked with keeping that market value (ie., raise potential) as high as possible.

Guess it depends on who you believe. There have been a couple people who’ve been ahead of this for months that said Kitselman and 1-2 more of those guys wanted Carter out.
I have to believe if Kitselman (who I believe is the head of the Leadership Council) wanted him out, Josh would not have let him back on. As someone said, why have a players council then? I believe the decision was made jointly to let him come back. Obviously didn’t work out.

Kitselman specifically spoke on the topic at one point. He was given a path back.

You’re right. Let me clarify what I was saying. I was saying that they initially did not want him back, not that Coach went against their wishes. I think they initially did not want him back and then eventually agreed to it under certain conditions. Sorry I wasn’t clear.

That’s right. Heupel’s took a risk bringing him back against wishes if team leaders. It was clear this summer that this could be a big locker room issue. It’s hard as a coach to be taken seriously in discipline issues with other players when you allow such nonsense for one .
Hmmm. Wonder how much not backing the player leadership group affected some of the playing on the field. Especially the defense since that was where Boo played.

Well, I kinda messed up earlier. I shouldn’t have said “against wishes of team leaders”. I shouldn’t have have said that some didn’t want him back at first, but eventually agreed. I still don’t think a couple wanted him there but I shouldn’t have phrased it that way. I don’t think it’s fair to say he went against team leaders. My fault on that.

Losing Heupel would absolutely devastate this program and it would all be because of the vocal minority calling for his and his colleagues heads all of the time. If we lose Heupel, I want one thing clear... it's the Negavols fault.
If dude can’t handle our negative talking heads, good luck at LSU. They are worse than we are.

No problem. I think there were certainly some players that didn’t want him back. Especially some that he supposedly got into a fight with. I believe Josh and the players council made the joint decision to let him try to play his way back with stipulations. Doesn’t really matter now. He gone and good riddance.

Right. These people that keep posting stuff like that absolutely crack me up. Good luck going to any of these places and not having people say/post things about you.

There were a significant number of OSU fans who wanted Ryan Day to be fired as they were getting ready for a playoff game. Critical people are everywhere. Also, some of the criticism he is getting is warranted, and doesn’t mean we want him gone, but if he leaves over it, then good luck at the next place!

Finish 7-5 and LSU fans would have a Schiano Sunday if they hired Heupel:

If Heupel is giving ear to the noise then he’s already done. That’s Butch and Jerry Green level crap. I warned a few of my booster buddies early on that Butch Jones would never make it because he was so sensitive to public criticism. That’s before I knew how big of a phony he truly was. Heupel isn’t a phony. He needs to look in the mirror and make some tough changes. He handled the off-season poorly with the whole Nico thing and particularly how little they did in the transfer portal to fill in some holes. Yes, they’ve been hit hard from the injury bug, but they let a number of players walk out the door that could’ve shorted up some depth in particular areas.

The biggest bugaboo is his team’s failure to live up to the maxims. Specifically, the team that makes the fewest mistakes wins. We’ve got enough sample size in an eight year coaching career to see that Heupel teams are miserable when it comes to penalties per game. Most of these are unforced errors.

Living in Tide Land it was a Bama fan meltdown Sat night and Sunday over their OK loss. Some really nasty stuff being said and posted. Yes there are worse fans than our so-called Negas.

Whoever you "heard" that from is an idiot

Yeah, that's what I think too. It's nice to win games, but the main purpose of any school is to give a student the opportunity and guidance to become a better and more capable member of society. Coach Heupel gave Boo a leg up, but Boo threw away the opportunity. Coach Heupel did all he could for the young man and more than most would have. I wish Boo would've lived up to his potential on Rocky Top, but I wish him the very best wherever he goes.
What??? Go volunteer with kids in high school. I could give a **** about this nonsense.

Heup just said in his presser that injuries had nothing to do with Boo's absence (we already knew this)... now making Mommaboo look like even more of a dumbass since she posted pics over the weekend with her sons medical records..
From a boob center no less.

If Heupel goes to LSU it’s because he would be receiving a boatload of money, not because 2% of the fanbase said mean things about him. He’s a head coach, he gets it.

What if Heupel goes to LSU (I doubt it but for augment's sake). Not only do we lose a good coach, but it may result in Tristan Keys recommitting to LSU, and who know maybe Faizan would follow.

To me it could have devasting results in losing a great staff, and perhaps a great recruiting class! NO THANKS! I like what we have and they can stay for the next 20 years.
You likely lose over half the current roster as well.

boo Carter's. mom is an absolute ratchet human being I live in Bradley county, and saw boo at every home game and his disgrace of a mother. Boo did a lot of not nice things in other schools before he got to Central, and had to be sat down before he transferred here and told "this is how you will behave or else"
