Biscuits for breakfast and cornbread for dinner and supper:cool:;)
Absolutely this. Can’t imagine anything else. I have a close friend who’s from Chicago and came south to play baseball and after his career he stayed. Someone ask him one day when we were playing golf why he stayed in the south when he retired. His immediate answer was ...CORNBREAD.

I grew up with the noon meal as dinner and the evening meal as supper and so did my daughter. Now 8 years into her marriage and all of a sudden it’s lunch and dinner because of her husband (who otherwise I love) And my granddaughters call it that way as well. That’s the one question I should have ask my future son in law when he ask for my daughters hand in marriage.

The answer is 2 cups of Tube Rose self-Rising cornmeal. A cup and a half of milk. 2 eggs and then mix ingredients with a spoon in a bowl. Pull out an 8 inch black iron skillet and add a good dollop of Crisco butter stick and heat until extremely hot then add to cornmeal mixture and stir until it is thoroughly mixed. Pour back in said 8 inch black iron skillet and bake at 450 for 40 minutes or until golden brown. This is a country man's cornbread, I know I made it last night with smoke pork chops and pinto beans. I needed some greens. It is close to a perfect meal that you can get! GBO!
You messed up with the Crisco. We use our recycled bacon grease.

This poll has too many variables for me to answer.

It really depends on your meal. Biscuits with honey and butter are one of my favorites, but cornbread is hard to beat with beans, fried taters, and a big old thick slab of sweet onion. Not to mention just your normal staple of southern deep fried foods such as okra, squash, and fried chicken.

Can't honestly answer this because they both have their place.

Sunday "lunch" is ALWAYS Sunday dinner. A more formal supper can be considered dinner but should be used sparingly.
Finally, someone who understands the words the same way I do. Also dinner is certainly not something that you eat at a fast food joint

Biscuits for breakfast and sweet cornbread for dinner
Sweet cornbread has its place but it's not as cornbread. Sweet cornbread batter makes extremely good pancakes. Surprisingly, it sounded like Saban was going to have the most complete answer to the question but they cut him off too early.

Hurling cornbread from the stands onto the officials, coaches, and players needs to become a Neyland tradition. It would be great, both at times of joy and frustration.

If my Mom made biscuits for supper, she made cheese biscuits. My wife makes biscuits and gravy so good...if you slopped any onto your forehead your tongue would beat your brains out trying to get to it!

Catheads for breakfast, cornbread rest of the day. Like gravy on my Catheads and crackling in my pone!
