Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, Grand Central Station,NYC, mouth watering steak and if you get there early enough very reasonably priced. The activity there alone looking down upon the commuters is entertainment in itself.

I ate at Lawry's here in Dallas during the weekend of Thanksgiving. The Prime Rib was awesome. A tad pricey...

Peter Luger and Sparks in NYC, Gene and Georgetti in Chicago, Prime 112 in Miami, and Craftsteak in Las Vegas.

Sparks in NYC

I had forgotten about Sparks, but it has been a long time since I've been there. The thing I remember were the stories of the recent Paul Costellano slaying. I was 12, so you can understand how a Mafia hit could wipe out the memory of a good meal.

Mere Bulles

When I was in college Mere Bulles offered a $5 bottomless cup on Wednesdays. I never remembered to eat there.

I am truly a steak lover! Ask anyone who knows me! My alltime favorite has to be the Bourbon Steak from Applebees! Next comes Outback! Then Chop House in Kingsport

anyone had Sperry's. Its pretty good. Good steak in Destin florida at Marina Cafe, and really good at The Beach Walk Cafe. setting on beach has a lot to do with it. Although ,You have to be tired of eating seafood as well.

You ever been to the Country Barn in Amarillo? Delicious!
No, but I just read some reviews based on your mentioning it. Sounds good. I have not been to West Texas in close to 20 years and I really don't remember how good, or bad, the steaks were at the Big Texan. Basically, Amarillo was an overnight stop for my family on annual car trips that we took out west every summer when I was preschool aged through early teen years. We always ate at the Big Texan when we spent the night there. Good times.

anyone had Sperry's.
I eat there quite a bit. I usually go for the blue cheese stuffed filet.

St. Elmo in Indianapolis
Yes. I forgot about that place. Excellent!!

Sperry's is a nice place, although I usually get seafood. The Bananas Foster is incredible. I am, however, philosophically opposed to nice restaurants with a salad bar.
They will make you a salad if you ask for it. I often get a Ceasar.

Don't do the Gatlingurg thing without having a steak at The Peddlar. One of the treats I really look forward to every time I go up there.
Cherokee Grill does a good job in Gatlinburg as well...

When in the Smokies I have resigned to eating at Connors. They have upscale souther cuisine at reasonable prices. (they are owned by the people that bring you the ChopHouse)
