Bernie is going to propose a bill that would give each citizen a tax break (up to $100) for any donation to candidate - as a way to get more people involved in the political process.
What do you guys think?

"One way which I find intriguing is that you basically provide $100 for every citizen in the United States of America, and you say to that person, 'Here's your hundred bucks, you can make a contribution, you can get a $100 tax credit if you spend $100 on any candidate you want,'" Sanders said. "I think that would democratize very significantly the political process in America and take us a long way away from these Super PACs controlled by billionaires who are now buying elections."
Lets see, someone gave me $100 bucks to spend on a political candidate - maybe I think I'll give it to the guy who is giving away money? Nah.
Idk, I thought it was interesting. Not sure that I like it one way or another.
Add it to making voter registration mandatory when renewing your license at 18 and making election day a national holiday (no work) and I think you've got a recipe for higher voter turnout.

Wow, another government mandate and paid holiday for government workers. You are on a roll.
PS the government cannot make private business give holidays. A better option would be to move election day to a Friday, Saturday AND Sunday.
