Bernie Sanders Thread

Some of us still pay as we go and don't incur debt

I am debt free as well. The problem is who we voted for, and continued to do so, and what they did. I am speaking generically of course and not at you as I have no clue who you have voted for in your past. It just comes off as comical and disingenuous when "the adults" tell "the kids" they are a bunch of free loaders.

Just be thoughtful and plan for expenses.. That's all

Interesting quote from Andrew Jackson that I feel surmises Bernie's campaign strategy pretty well:

"It is to be regretted that the rich and powerful too often bend the acts of government to their selfish purposes. Distinctions in society will always exist under every just government. Equality of talents, of education, or of wealth can not be produced by human institutions. In the full enjoyment of the gifts of Heaven and the fruits of superior industry, economy, and virtue, every man is equally entitled to protection by law; but when the laws undertake to add to these natural and just advantages artificial distinctions, to grant titles, gratuities, and exclusive privileges, to make the rich richer and the potent more powerful, the humble members of society — the farmers, mechanics, and laborers — who have neither the time nor the means of securing like favors to themselves, have a right to complain of the injustice of their government."

You're just jealous man. The rich create jobs therefore they shouldnt have to play by the same rules. If you call out our reps for accepting bribes, you're not a true American and will never win an election.

This is the part that democrats and Bernie Sanders should pay attention to.

The GOP Governor, Senate and House in the Great State of Tennessee do not consider free college tuition garbage.

To two year schools like Pellissippi State or Walters State. Bernie is promising free tuition to places like UT.

That said, just because a Republican proposes it, signs it and claims credit for it doesn't mean it's a good idea. I figured you knew not to stoop to LG levels of illogic, gramps.

According to Reuters, on any given day, Bernie has a 10%-20% lead on Hillary in 18-29 year old voters.

Just goes to show what a bunch of ****ing morons are up-and-coming in the country.

That's because Bernie keeps promising garbage like free college tuition.

It still amazes me the amount of people that believe the government (really, our taxes) is the best solution to anything.

I am in 100% approval of the TN Promise Program. I think TN took the time to design it properly while allowing the lottery to fund it.

Bernie is so far out there I don't pay attention to what he says he isn't going to give Hillary a run, IMO.

College classes (for smarter people) funded by the lottery money (from the poor and stupid). It is a voluntary tax , though.

And college classes aren't always for smarter people, nor do they necessarily produce smarter people.
