Back in it baby (UF)!!!!

Actually, what happened is that I came on to discuss the fact that the SECE is wide open and then someone makes an inane comment about a fan who was upset by the loss. Hey, it was a field goal as time expired at Florida Field -- we've got a win string going and an undefeated season on the line with high hopes.

So I just wanted to shut the guy up is all.

Wow this forum has to be up there with the most replies on the net ...You guys can carry on a convo over the forum....Much impressive...

tell ya what.. tenn beats Georgia next Saturday I might have more hope. But to think I'm going to get excited because someone else beat florida is pure lunacy.

yeah, man, I'm feelin' you. Giddy inside at your despair, but still feelin you.

what's the VIA quit story? what happened?

no one really knows. He was in a typical debate, nothing serious. Then posted a thread in the pub and just said "it was fun volnation, it was fun." and then he disappeared. His thread in the pub now includes some obscure songs, jokes and making fun of one another, a fake new VIA and just about anything else you can imagine. He even has an eulogy thread in the endzone.

Not trying to be negative, but I'm sure we will screw it up somehow.

Go Vols!

Your not excited about Superman losing? Shame on you.

i should rephrase that. After the kid nailed the FG for the second time, I yelled "screw you urban meyer" at the TV. I'm elated that Florida lost.

However, I don't feel the least bit more excited about UT's chances of winning the SECE.

I'll just say that quite a few things had to happen for UT to get back in the East race. Didn't expect AU to help us out but it happened. It's the 1st step but it's now up to the guys in pads to take advantage. Will they do it? I've seen it happen before for us so I do know it's possible.

I'm glad Florida lost. However, I'm still wondering how an Auburn team that loses to Miss St can do it, but UT can't even keep it close.

"We're in contention at this point".

True statement.

We could end up winning the SEC East.

Another true statement.

But...given what we've all seen (all of us..we were watching, right?)...unless UT makes a HUGE improvement in run blocking, 3rd down conversions, run defense, 3rd down defense, and special teams play...we are mathmatically in the hunt, and realistically on the outside looking in.

That's too many holes to fill, IMO.

Hope? Yes.

Confidence? None.

My theory is that he realized he had spent all this time on here pimping the Crimson Tide and that it was all going to come crashing down over the past two weekends and it was more than he could bear.

That's exactly how I feel.

you're never supposed to compare two games like that...each game is different for each team...how does a Michigan team who lost to a division II team beat Penn St????

He also said UK would not make a bowl. The walls were falling in everywhere.
