I once got a chance to take my fathers 2013 335i to the dragon last year. I got to drive it on a regular basis since I was renting my parents house for a year while they were living in Texas in my dad's final years and they left their cars at home.
The road was wet to start the day and then dry by the end. That car was faster in the wet than any car I've driven in the dry. For a vehicle that weighed around 3700lbs it didn't feel it.
Was it the most fun car I've driven on that road? No, that honor goes to the Miata I had, followed by the Mazdaspeed 3. It did however make the strongest impression upon me. That was a car that could do it all, it was an absolute rocket ship when you needed it to be, but a comfortable sedan for all the other times.
I certainly see myself leasing one in the future.
Is the 335 all wheel drive? Our X3 is and man does that make a difference. Not going to lie, I hurt a Scion FRS's (or maybe a Subaru BRZ?) feelings a few weeks ago from a red light. I don't think he expected the X3 to be that fast.

I've been looking too,

I disagree. Buy a car that you absolutely love and you'll never mind making the payments. When it breaks, fix it. When it's old, trade it. But always love what you buy. People only regret IMPULSE car purchases. Sleep on it for a few days and if you're still thinking about it, go get it.
By definition, cars are not an investment,...except for new and used car dealers, and the car buffs who buy to fix and sell gor profit. For all us normal dudes, they're an expense.
@ Mustang buyer...whats your insurance gonna run for that car? Hot cars usually have a higher rate.
So tell me how you feel about Mustangs.
Depends. 60s models I love.
Those new things aren't Mustangs. They're ego strokes for guys that are still living in their mom's basement. Joe Dirt is a hillarious movie, but only because Spade captured so well the pathetic nature of white trash subculture and what jiggles their jimmies.
It's like the moron that drives his pick-up to work that has a lift kit and accessories that cost more than the truck itself.
