Automobilia etc....

Hey Nerd - my dad is looking at a 16 CX-5 Touring FWD. Edmunds suggests about 1200 off MSRP is reasonable. True Car suggests more depending on dealer.

Is it reasonable to expect at least a grand off MSRP. Don't want to put you on the spot so if you can't answer that's cool.

Just find a true car dealer and walk in with your print out. See if they will honor it. Sounds like a bunch of dealers are selling at a bit of a loss. I don't think there is more a $1000 of mark up in it. I can't recall if there is any dealer or customer cash.

The Edmunds rate is a couple hundred below invoice.

No True Car dealers in the area. Closest is 50 miles or so and their discount is pretty lame. There's one 250 miles away that must be selling drugs on the side - they are 7% off MSRP!

Thanks for the info. :hi:

Worst come to worse, just give it a go with edmunds. The worst they can tell you is no. Might walk away with a great deal.

Alright people - why the f##k do so many people list their cars on Autotrader as having a manual transmission when they clearly have an automatic?

Drives me insane!

I always have that itch. The problem is I scratch it far too often.

I've promised myself that my #1 priority is to pay of my student loans. I'm blessed to be able to walk to work every morning, so I figure that's Gods way of saying "handle your business, first"
