Automobilia etc....

Wait. They posted all that info and the piece doesn't even run?

not only that, but the idiot is running it with stock brakes, which means the rear brakes are drums (albeit, larger ones from a Honda CRV, which is supposed to be confidence inspiring?)

It watching Craigslist cars-by owner ads, I never fail to be amazed at the amount of work/effort people will put in to something that ends up as absolute sh*t.

I especially like that ads that feature cell phone pics, taken at night, at a gas station, with no effort made to re-orient the image.

Another issue with the crv drivetrain swap is that I think it only sends 20% to the rear. So it doesn't make a big change in the handling of the vehicle.

One of the project managers at work bought one of these and was parked next to me on Thursday. She paid over 40k.

That car embodies almost every issue I have with Nissan.

You don't have a single vehicle considered in the top 3 of almost any segment, overall quality has been slipping, and so on...yet that thing somehow crawled out of product development.

How it made it through to actually be produced is beyond me. It should have never made it off of a sketch pad or computer desktop. At most, maybe a goofball concept they debut at a lower tier show. Yet, they built it.

(And yes, I realize its been killed off now, but seeing one in person just reinforced my thoughts.)

You're all over it. That vehicle is shocking.

Not sure by what you mean "top 3 in any segment" but I'm pretty sure the Altima is the number 2 best selling mid size sedan behind the Camry.

I've had a Murano, what a nightmare, the transmission was horrible. One of our company vehicles is a Murano, it's been sitting in the same spot for a year now, out of commission.

I'm in the market for a new car, narrowed it down to either a Focus or Dart, manual transmission is a must.

Which one do you guys think would be the best choice?

No Mazda Nerd :)

You have to go with the Dart. Dodge is clearly better than Ford and it has a more awesome name.

Do I wanna be a dart or focused? I wanna be a Dart.

This is pure insanity, sir. It is clearly more important to be focused. Ford wins.

My Ford drips with style! Have you SEEN some of the Dodge offerings? We aren't traveling through space!

Yes, but how will he be able to take a Corolla off the line if he is loving milliseconds because of the boxiness of the Focus? Tell me that.
