What is it with people and ketchup on meat. Is it a meatloaf fetish that crosses over to all meat they eat?

I have an opinion on that subject, but I will be better off keeping it to myself.

:focus:

Behr,

The other night you told me to ask about your carrot cheesecake. Is your recipe better than Cheesecake Factory's carrot cheesecake?

I, sadly, must leave this thread. Carry on fine, fine preparers of all things delicious. I'll miss you!! I'll be at the I don't wanna wear everything I ate thread. :)

Cooked some Campbell's tomato bisque soup and broke up some leftover french bread in it. Pretty damn tasty.

Just because you are on a diet doesn't mean you can't look at the menu. At least that is what I used to tell my ex.

It sounds good. The first time I read this post I thought you said "french toast"....I didn't even know what to say.

I prolly should join you lol

Go ahead, you can't even spell my name right.

:)

It doesn't serve me to tempt myself right now. Is that what you told your ex too? :)

When did we find out what your name is? I missed it!

Behr, making some homemade chili tomorrow. I have my chunky ground beef, diced tomatoes( with garlic, basil, and olive oil), tomato sauce, light kidney beans and. My store bought chili kit. Anything you would add besides salt and oepper?

onions and whole tomatos instead of diced.

Not really. I'm kinda funny about stuff like that. I personally don't like to use garlic a Jalapenos in the same recipe, and my chili is gonna have Japs and onions or shallots., but that's just me.

If that's the way you like it, maybe add some ground veal and some type of pasta, orzo, capelli d'angelo or penne.

I would garnish it with the fresh basil instead of cooking it with the chili JMO. Fresh shaved Parmesan might be a good garnish as well.

Again Jhen, this is a personal preference. It doesn't make me right or wrong.

Thanks for the ideas. Totally forgot about onion(sure I would have remembered once I got started). Chili over pasta sounds good. Nat might like it that way. Trying my hardest to not make it spicy so the family will eat it. Parmesan might work as well.

What would be a good wine to serve with Vienna Sausages? Not those fake ones. The real original Vienna Sausages. Thanks.
