Have we? 6-22 the last 28 games. 0-9 the last 9. They did everything they could possibly do to give us the game this year and despite that and a well below average backup QB, they absolutely dominated the game.

They're gonna be 4-8 just like us and one of their wins, in one of the worst seasons in their school's history is against UT. Please excuse me if I'm jaded enough to recognize that we're not gonna beat Florida next year or anytime in the near future.... not happening.

My thoughts are what should happen with an average sec coach
I haven't decided what I think of CBJ. I'm saying that grading him on CDDs players is unfair. I will have a opinion after next year though.

Dooley was just bad.
None of that is relavant in regards to Coach Butch. He's 0-1 vs Fla. That's what we have to go on.

To say that we will lose because we always do is silly.

"knowing" that UT will lose to UF in 2014 because UF has won 8 in a row is kind of like saying that one "knows" that CBJ will win championships at UT, because he did in lesser conferences.

Apples and oranges.
Saying some one "knows" we lose to Fla because Butch lost once is not the same as saying Butch won championships at the lower level so there is a history that gives me hope.


I don't know if Coach Butch will win here. I don't even have an opinion yet.

If you grade him on next year you're gonna have to conclude he ain't got it. Next year will be similar to this year. You can't expect the incoming class to make that big of a difference. I personally have little confidence that he can win here but his classes will have to be a little more experience before we'll know for sure.

You saw something this year . We almost beat Georgia and did beat SoCar...then our QB got hurt and we are starting a freshman that cant tie his own shoes. Dobbs and Fergie may end up being awesome ..but not this year . When we had Worley ..he was no Manning ..but he was serviceable and made a few plays. Now we have NO QB play and the scoreboard reflects that

Reading is fundamental.
All 3 games are winable.
We may lose 3.
We may win 2.
We may only 1.
Heck we could go 0-12 next year but that doesn't change the fact that all 3 are winable.

He will get a 3rd year regardless.
I'm saying that we won't know enough about weather he's got it or not till after next year. You know, when he has some of his players.

There are some signs of hope. There are some signs of concern. Right now the incoming class makes up for the Dooley players. At this point I hope Butch is the guy but I can't say he is or is not.
I just don't know.
