I'll preface this by saying we likely will have to agree to disagree because the subject has been broached previously, but IMO, you are attempting to compare Anderson and Tyndall as an apples:apples comparison. To me, there are many different dynamics, both past and present, that make each coach's situation unique.
Anderson, to my knowledge, hasn't just outrightly won a recruiting battle for a blue chip player without some measure of qualification. His largest 'get' thus far, M. Gill-Caesar, was hand-delivered with the hiring of his HS coach. Credit to Anderson for making it happen, but after the hire, there was NO competition for MG-C, and was perhaps a prerequisite to Fulford's employment (we'll never know).
Aside from MG-C, Anderson managed to convince the majority of Mizzou recruits to honor their commitment, including 4* players Jakeenan Gant and Namon Wright, something Tyndall failed to do. However, the circumstances around Frank Haith's departure and Cuonzo Martin's departure were world's apart, and the media attention and vitriol between current players and fans/administration eventually spilled over to the recruiting class. Tyndall passed on all but Cofer, and didn't perhaps make him a priority to the degree the Cofer's felt necessary. To be fair though, none of the signees were talents on the level of Gant and Wright. Had they been, more of an effort would have likely been made.
All that to say that Kim Anderson is "killing it" in recruiting may be a little generous. He has landed, in addition to MG-C, two 3* players to this point. Tyndall has landed four 3* players and a 4* in Detrick Mostella, who was similarly ranked to MG-C. Has CDT struck out on some others? Sure, and he'll strike out on others too, as will Anderson. They both currently have zero commits for 2015, so neither is "killing it" in regards to the next class IMO.
